This is true. When i get annoyed at my spouse, i remember all the helpful things he does and calm down.
Sometimes, that's the only thing that gets me through. He's a fantastic man, but we still manage to rub one another the wrong way.
@@TheDellaniOakes cat and dog, oil and water. Opposites attract, which works for a while, but long turn, it is exhausting! Still we stay together.
My New Years resolution this year was to laugh every day.

@edithdlp8045, a friend of mine once asked me, "Why do you always do the dishes?" I said, "Because you're going home to a wife that hates you. When you leave, my wife and I are going to make a mess out of the bed sheets!" It's about doing my part. Everyone is happier that way.

Isn't this kind of a "you fly, I'll buy" scenario? Whoever cooks, the other person washes the dishes... I usually find a way to wash everything while cooking.
