Hollow Knight Dream No More Speedrun but it's Christmas and I got the Radiance literally nothing

- So you might remember I did the 0 Geo challenge a while ago for the any% ending of the game, this time we did TE aka Dream No More ending. This run is quite longer, and much more difficult, as not only do you need to avoid geo for longer, but there's also a few pretty difficult fights in this.
Since this was mostly a challenge run for fun, I used the CustomKnight mod to play with the Christmas skin (made by MageGi), think it's pretty fitting for the holiday season ^^
The mod and skin can be found in the pinned messages of the modding channel in Hollow Knight's discord server.

It still amazes me how he is able to beat the game in about an hour and I struggle in the fungle wastes because I dont know how to down strike properly

Ik, but I use the thumbstick on a controller, and my computer lags while playing clicker heroes so I cant play hollow knight there
@@andrewfortier7354 it's really just something you get good at over time, I was stuck on the pogo spots for a while too, and now it's much easier to pogo
Get good? If your pc lags while playing clicker heroes, you aren't even playing any games on it.

Everyone else: I explored every hidden room, found every grub, went from giving flowers to friends and suffering the memories of my fallen friends and fought the SUN, all using the wayward compass, but I still can't find who asked.
Edit: Damn you are probably the best person of speedruning and skill I've ever seen. From your reaction time to your shortcuts and stuff its amazing your skill. I have a lot to learn and can't wait to go into Silksong fresh.

Out of nowhere I just thought, would a low percent no geo run even be possible?
Probably, although it would have to be a different percentage than classic low%, because you would have to get upgrades that you normally wouldn't get, like desolate dive.
@@mattmakermusic9743 I was about to mention that you can't get Lumafly Lantern in 0 Geo... And then I learned that it doesn't give you a percent.
So we already have a 2% difference between regular Low% and 0 Geo Low% (Soul Master + Desolate Dive)

hello MonStahLer, I noticed you were playing the game Hollow Knight. I noticed you never went to get the nail upgrades in you Speed Run; this is a BIG mistake, as getting upgrades allow you to do more damage, killing enemies faster and making the final and hardest boss in the game, The Hollow Knight, easier. You should also equip quick slash because it lets you deal EVEN MORE damage. I hope this helps you speed run faster.
This is a no geo run, the nail upgrade costs... Quickslash is free though, good idea!

Holy S....I've gotta few questions. How long did you play the game before its challenges became such a joke you started experimenting with side attack-pogo jumping using chainsaw blades and thorn walls? Are there different allowances in distances for such movements from PC-PS4-xbox-switch or should this all be possible across all platforms...? I'm sure you hear this often, but that precision and timing while moving through sections (that took me multiple days of attempts to complete) is truly awe inspiring. You sir are too OP for this game..

More complex movement just comes naturally with time spent and practice. I don't believe there's anything that pc can do and consoles can't, except for some precise stuff being harder to pull off because of the input delay.

@@MonStahLer I cant get over you staying, what I would assume by the look of it, a certain amount of pixels away from the bosses while performing nail attacks and jumping with the boss....how similar from attempt to attempt are the movement of individual bosses (for example in pantheon of Hollownest)
@@MonStahLer I'm currently at 106% completion and have Fools, NKG, Radiance, and dream zote, before seriously tackling Godhome/pantheons. And I am stuck on no floor wave if fools trial (ballpark guess at least 250 attempts lol)

0 Geo TE NMG, It's the dream no more ending but you also can't acquire any geo, and no major glitches

@@niningrz4864 I totally get it. People do say his move patterns are easy and they kinda are, but the fact that he does double damage alone is pretty overwhelming as it leaves out absolutely tiny error space, plus it is almost impossible to heal during the fight. I would literally start to panic if I got hit once. Luckily he’s right above a bench tho
