Today I am reviewing the new Shaghaf Oud Flankers by Swiss Arabian. The very new, limited edition Shaghaf Oud Ahmar and Azraq.

I just bought Shaghaf Oud Ahmar and Azarq, but these are not my first purchases for Middle Eastern fragrances. Shaghaf Oud and Aswad were my first two purchases about 18 months ago along with Casablanca and Mutamayez. All I can say is, I love them and will be buying them all and doing a bit of study of Middle Eastern fragrance.

I tried the Azraq from the Vanity and I loved it. It might share the number one spot with Rasasi Rasana

I got my order of Ahmar, and Azarq, out of these two, I would have to say that I would like Azraq just a little bit more. Don't get get me wrong, I love Ahmar, but it's something about Azraq that I love even more. Along with those, I also bought from Swiss Arabian, Swiss Arabian Imperial, Kenzy, Mutamayez, and Shawq. Out if the last 4, Imperial Arabia is the one that is having to grow on me. It's a little to powdery so I'm trying to find something to tone that down. With the exception of Mutamayez, the other three are blind buys, and smell good. Regarding Mutamayez, this is my second bottle. Right before I made this post, I just purchased Shaghaf Oud Tonka, Lattafa Asad, and Shaghaf Oud Ladies.

Also, a number of the notes make me think of J'adore. Do you find them similar?
You are absolutely right! It is very mild. Very like intimate. It will most definitely not leave a trail. I like my perfume to leave trails behind me as well ❤ It does not smell like J'Adore to me, but there is one I am going to review from Al Haramain L'Aventure collection soon which reminds me of that. I think the recent Gold one.
Hi, I was very curious about these fragrances. Ard Al Zaafaran is said to be a clone of Erba Pura so red Shagaf Oud too. Can someone compare it.
Heya Hun! So Shaghaf Oud Ahmar (Red) is similar to Ard Al Zaafaran's I am Queen but not a 100%. If you are looking for a closer dupe to Erba Pura, Lattafas Ana Abiyedh is the way to go ❤
I was googling bakhoor to get my order together and I see Swiss Arabian makes some. Have you tried it, by chance?
To be honest babe, I have not tried the ones from SA. I did like one a lot in the shop though and will get it after next salary lol. It is called Oud Muattar Mumtaz. I nearly dies and went to heaven when I smelled it ❤❤❤
Before catching Covid (first time in 2021 then a few times since) any smokey note in any fragrance smells like burnt hair to me...I really hate it because I LOVED smokey notes and have so many smokey perfumes and I choke when I smell them now. Hopefully my nose will fix itself tho lol
Oh noooooo! I am so sorry! Being a smokey note fan myself, I can imagine how that feel. Covid did us all bad! In my case its my taste. I can no longer stand any kind of meats :(
Hi dear i hv received Ahmar perfume before 2 days nd i liked it also. But i was expecting something else as per notes. I think this is light version of erba pura. ❤

I'm very hesitant when i hear something has a note of dirt...although if this is what the prince of Dubai would smell like, I would give it a sniff. ❤ He sounds really interesting (and good looking).

I have Ana Abiyedh and Afnan Desert Rose. Are they close to Ahmar? Don't want to have duplictaes.

I personally think for Men Azraq is the best! It smells very expensive like a prince ❤

Super Loud and a little powdery I would say. It is a winter scent for sure. In summer it will be too cloying ❤️😊
Is Azraq better than Aswad ?
Nooooo definitely not. Aswad is OG and very powerful. Azraq is a little powdery on dry down. I hope this helps ❤
