looks good, i was trying to see if they worked with the heated grips when i came across the video, and was glad to see they do.
Thanks! Dang can am didn't enclose instructions other than online
Excellent, thank you
Thanks great installation
Nice vid just installed these, thanks!
Thank you for your nice video! It was very helpful for me. Greetings from Germany!
Thank you Man U just earned a sub
That end cap once installed just tightens into those two metal sleeves? I got a gap on the end. Doesn't go far enough into handle
At the 1:43 mark. There's no hole in the guard to put that black torx screw in to secure outside of the gaurd to the bracket?
Nice video men!! Does that include the black bases to install the hand guards?? Where do you buy them??
Thanks! Yes, it includes them if you buy the full kit. You can buy the same wind deflectors that I used here: amzn.to/2yM7vVP
Is there anyway I can put some in a cheap atv
I said wind deflectors ??? Can am's go that fast ? But then I seen what he was talking about. "Handguards"😆
Canam didn’t drill holes in my wind guards the secure the guards to the mounts
And the lock nut for that torqz screw are wrong :(
This is the first time I’ve bought something from Caman and felt ripped off :(
That sucks! I would contact them and let them know. They may have switched suppliers and you probably aren't the only one having that problem?
Also, what is that plastic piece that comes in the pack? Does that go over the middle of handlebars? Wondering what Is the point of that...
Yeah, I have no idea what that plastic piece was for. If I remember right, the instructions never made a mention of it either.
@@DIYDanCars Believe it is just a cover which clips over the 4 bolts in the centre of the handlebars made to look like a fake speaker
Thanks, can't believe BRP didn't through in instructions or at least a youtube.com tutorial like this one. HOwever they did throw in a piece a paper warning me that this should be installed by a BRP professional...REALLY??!!
What happened To your brake lever on the right side? Was there never one there?
My front brake lever is on the left side and the rear brake lever is a foot mounted one on the right side.
CanAms don't have a right brake lever. The left and foot levers engage both front and rear brakes. CanAm also has an incredible engine braking system and actually I rarely ever use my brakes
Any chance the cameramen can just keep the camera still make it a lot easier to see things
This is a very old video of mine. Things have changed since the head mounted go-pro days.
good video, but after watching this I think I'm going to go a different route. I think I'll spend the money and get the one piece handlebar protector that covers the entire handlebar. Not crazy about how these look, and they look pretty flimsy
Whoever designed those U brackets should be shot! Took me 2 hours to install them and now I have everything scratched trying to line up the holes with pilers lol. Good video though!
You say in the video that you had a heck of time getting the last bolt in the U shape bracket. I’m talking about the same thing. I had trouble with both sides. It was brutal!
You're right! I forgot all about that. It's been well over a year since I installed these. :)
