I moved to Mexico in 2011 to play online poker and I got absolutely fkn shanked with bad beats and I feel like i had the worst negative energy of all time. Today I ran KK into AA 4 times...flopped the nut straight in a 3 way 3bet pot got it in on the flop dude called off with bottom pair and hit runner runner full house....got AA into KK and he hit runner runner straight...just over and over again all day today. Lost like 8 buyins in an hour....just fucking unreal sickening bullshit on Bovada sometimes.

Because like what kind of hand he can have? If he had king he will bet the draw heavy flop he also betting sets on the flop .. on the turn its another king so its less likely that he have a king .. he check raise you because he knows that you had not king because you checked the flop so he knows that you did not have a king because you betting king on draw heavy board most of the time .. not easy call on the river but i think you should call :D gg gl everything best ;)

"What would i give to run like Jeff Gross". Compare you Pokerstyle. You go 90 % the high variance route, Jeff is really playing small ball or decide post flop. Maybe change you strat a bit. It's the same with this Karlencho in his challenge. Always high variance. Learned the spots and do it always the same way. Just change strat for a few weeks and look how far it will take you.
Yeah that sounds glamorous and all but look at jeff gross ROI compared to tonkas. There is a reason tonkaÂŽs pushing his equity in these spots, which you could claim to be high variance. It has to be done in high stakes in order to neutraslise the ev of opponents making aggresive plays on you and also realising your own equity in spots. There is no way around it unfortunately if you wanna stay at the top. Also if he would have held these spots no one would doubt his playing style iÂŽm sure
Especially with short stacks you have to go with many decent - if not great - hands and play very aggressively. That's just part of the game if you want to make it in these stakes. When you are playing smaller stakes you can get away with taking mostly low variance spots and giving up many marginal hands.
Jeff is a total nit though. He misses value in great spots. In all his videos he rhymes off the hands he can lose to and never thinks of the hands he can get value from. I still like the guy he has crazy energy but he is fundamentally not on the same level.

I believe thereâs to many good players to make a living anymore. Poker is so hard Iâve tried grinding WSOP and itâs just impossible
Agree with taking the lead flop with aces after the opener doesnt c bet. As played not sure if I find a fold on the river though. Reason being is that youâre turn bet of 1/3 pot is almost never a king as youâre likely sizing up over 1/2 - 2/3 pot esp against 2 opponents and with the check through flop. Villian can easily c/r rep a king here because heâs getting extra credit since he theoretically was setting a check/trapping for 1 of 2 opponents which is a more believable play.The way the hand is played it looks like youâre weighted to 1010 and flush draws with your turn sizing . He probably assumes you think heâs got a king so when you call you look weighted to flush draws or maybe sometimes calling with 1010 and giving up on the river. Which makes sense since you probably check through your flush draws and 1010 on the flop and you probably take lead on the flop when you have a king some of the time since itâs likely a strong king that youâre flatting pre like K10-KQs. Against a capable player it seems like a spot that you should probably call down a lot especially since you block AK and donât block any of the Ax flush draw hands or J10/QJs etc that are likely candidates to turn into bluffs on the turn.

And my aces (my only pocket pair in that game) got cracked by a rivered king giving my opponent a Three of a kind
