जम्मू-कश्मीर में 370 हटने के बाद पहली बार कोई बड़ा चुनाव हो रहा है. चौथे फेज में श्रीनगर लोकसभा सीट पर वोट डाले गए. यहां के वोटर्स ने तमाम अटकल, अनुमान और आशंकाओं को तोड़ते हुए रिकॉर्ड तोड़ मतदान किया. श्रीनगर में 28 साल के रिकॉर्ड को तोड़ते हुए करीब 38 फीसदी वोटिंग हुई. इससे पहले 1996 के लोकसभा चुनाव में यहां 41 फीसदी वोटिंग हुई थी. इसके बाद किसी भी लोकसभा चुनाव में इतनी बड़ी संख्या में वोटिंग नहीं हुई. जाहिर है कश्मीर के लोगों ने इतनी बड़ी संख्या में घरों से निकल कर वोटिंग की है तो इसका अपना संदेश भी है और इस संदेश का लोग अपने-अपने हिसाब से मायने भी निकाल रहे हैं.
For the first time after the removal of 370, a major election is being held in Jammu and Kashmir. In the fourth phase, voting was held on Srinagar Lok Sabha seat. The voters here broke all the speculations, guesses and apprehensions and voted in a record breaking manner. Nearly 38 percent voting took place in Srinagar, breaking the 28-year record. Earlier in the 1996 Lok Sabha elections, 41 percent voting took place here. After this, such a large number of voting did not take place in any Lok Sabha election. Obviously, the fact that the people of Kashmir came out of their homes in such large numbers to vote has its own message and people are interpreting this message in their own way.
