A tip to preserve your sanity and develop high skill: don't obsess with using chariot every time you miss or something gets parried. I really don't agree with that tip, you'll make yourself crazy and also not learn how to adapt when things don't go your way. It's cheap and not fun. That said, there ARE reasons to use chariot and AVOID going crazy: recruitment, and farming for specific drops. I'd argue there is no skill in that so you're not handicapping yourself by just trying to save some time replaying content over and over until you get lucky.
Its like savescumming in xcom games. Yes, you WILL miss a 95% shot once in a while. Thats xcom, baby!
If you want to level two weapons at once say 1H swords and crossbows. Equip 1 handed version of each weapon with a class that can cast magic example rune fencer. Everytime you cast a spell like deadshot both weapon skills gets leveled up.
That's sick!
Speaking of magic, do magic skills get rank up or is it just weapons? Because the PSP game had Augment (Element) skills that helped boost damage for specific elements like Fire but it would take forever to raise unlike weapons.
Yeah I am doing that with Dagger/Short Bow on Canopus and he has the 4 element shot spells, its a nice trick
I use an axe and shortbow with Canopus. You can also equip 8 finishing moves if you have 2 weapons!

Love your content on this game! Im a new sub for sure! One hint or tip that i use that i have not seen anywhere else, attack the breakable environment objects on your side of the map and gather the skill cards that drop from said items. It gives you so much time to buff your character in a safe location if you are up against some tough enemies. Thanks again for the great content!
Another tip: In chapter one, the game will ask you to do something terrible. Do that terrible thing. It will set you on a route that has a better story (IMHO of course).

Another tip: Start between Chapter 2 or 3, you can craft any Blowgun and sell to get infinite money, especially craft Baldur Blowgun or Damascus Blowgun to sell more money. You can get 99m max in the early game

@@BltzZ i feel like that's an oversight by the team but also kinda ruins the challenge of managing your money properly, sure while you're in post game it doesn't matter cuz you will not care about money but def ruins the overall game experience since you can do whatever you want early, where as before you either had to grind or just spend money wisely another skill taken out of a game because new age stuffs
@@andrewtatian7495 Or it could be purposely put that way for the craft individuals to use. As in Real life. if you could obtain materials cheap, and craft item cheap, then sell said item youd make profit.. provided you did your math properly... This is no different in game...
If you wanna play in easy mode go with exploits go ahead but don't try to justify as it's the "way to play the game".

Trust me when I played final fantasy tactics and the chat kept telling me to do that I thought they were crazy. But it's legit haha. Best part, you have them attack each other and another character healing them to level that other character up too. It's so deeeeep
All bows can hit a few more tiles than the max range of the regarding weapons, that's not archer or class exclusive. I personally recommend to have warrior classes have a 1h range weapon, especially bows unless you're dealing with tanky enemies.

useful tip: chose neutral rout in first play though if you like hard games. you will have a very hard time playing this rout in your first run.

Ok, one thing you said is that archers are op as before. I knew about extended ranges, etc. But my dmg on them is pretty meh(even with current equipment, crafted higher, etc) am I doing something wrong?

Missing that title, is gonna bother completionist, but like.. using chariot is night and day... is it worth all the trip to PotD, SB, and Coda without it? im still debating.

@@BltzZ actually the only way to get cressadia and all the 4 phoraena sisters is through chaos, cistina is significantly better than the original shery has always been op, olivya is wack as a cleric and cerya is powerful, abuse all 4 of them in the chaos route!

@@vandee6924 not knights, but "knight commander", knights are average and viable but you wanna ditch them and use "white knights" and "knight commander" instead in the mid-game bcs they are better in every way, and yeah! busted meant very very very strong
How do you know its a guest character?
Seems you don't lose the title because in OT reborn the title doesn't exist. they remove the title because frankly the game has increase a lot the difficulty on boss battles. so to get the other title "no incapacitates in battle" you need to chariot A LOT

I don’t understand the element system. Does it effect regular melee units or is it only element attacks? If so that system is stupid
I think it works in every aspect of the game. Elemental affinity increases Dmg. To me what feels weird is that if your unit is air he still does more Dmg with air spell to an enemy resistant to air than using the opposite element of the enemy.
I love this game because as I'm playing it all I'm thinking is someone took the tactics storyline and copy-pasted it

Never played this game. How can you tell which chars are on your team? It looks very clustered.
enemies usually have red outfits on or all matching colors. But you can turn on health bars to show the differences if you want. But I personally find the health bars too cluttery
You can also look at the time bar below, when you select/point at a character they'll pop up. Your team has a blue glow while enemies have like an orange one.
I played FF Tactics Advance on my GBA when I was a kid and beat thee f**k out of that game. Should I buy this?
I’m on Chapter 4 and I still haven’t figured out how to collect magic leaves other than random drops during battles.
I think this was a design purpose so players can't steam roll fights with high magic early on. You can allegedly farm them in phorompa
To add to having the units attacking together to build the same weapon experience. If you have them attack each other with counter... just saying.
Also for my own tip; anyone using hybrid melee/casting units such as Lord, Princess or a sword Valkyrie/rune fencer. If you use staff on off hand for spell power bonus in place of a shield, put staff in MAIN hand, melee in off hand. In my experience, spell range bonus doesn't apply if it's in off hand. Just becomes a matter of remembering melee is secondary in combat then.
Edit: Spell range bonus from cudgels still does not apply in off hand as of patch 1.06

2:06 Not true, You do not NEED to be "properly equipped" you just need to have the weapon skill you want to level equipped. Dont matter if you say, use a hammer on your bird man, but have swords skill on him, hes still getting sword Exp! Surpised you missed this. Makes training WAY faster.
Archers are definitely not very very good. They are decent for damaging squishies, but they do no damage to most other units. They almost seem pointless because you can run other classes with one-hand bows that seem to be just as good.
they are great the first 3-4 chapters. which is what this video is aimed at. hitting the enemy 3 times outside of max range before they can even get to you is super good bro idk what to tell you.

it definitely is. But I hear the difficulty ramps up later on so its sort of a last resort for many

FFT Remaster I think is being announced officially next month for the Final Fantasy 35th
Final Fantasy Tactics is being redone to modern game graphics and play standards and will be available for PC and consoles.
