    What computer compnents i.e. amount of RAM etc. Is needed to support 5 cameras?

    • @Tethertools
      @Tethertools  Před rokem

      Smart Shooter 5 only indicates Operating System version numbers for requirements. They are as follows:
      Windows: Windows 7 (64bit) or later
      Mac: macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later
      If the computer meets the requirements to run the OS's then you will be able to run Smart Shooter 5.
      Naturally, please feel free to reach out to techsupport@tethertools.com if you have any other questions.
      Thanks

    Hi. Do you have a tutorial on how to connect multiple cameras?

    • @Tethertools
      @Tethertools  Před 8 měsíci

      This video describes how to use multiple cameras in Smart Shooter 5. To connect multiple camera, you will need to connect each to a USB port on the computer. If your computer does not have enough USB ports, you will need to use a hub that will accommodate at least some of the camera connections. We always recommend a powered USB hub whenever possible so that the connections can be supplied by an independent power source.
      Hopefully that information is helpful, but if you have a more specific question, please feel free to reach out to techsupport@tethertools.com

    should have a way to connect a Datasheet. Doing that we can shoot renaming on the fly withou the need to scan a barcode.

      Smart Shooter 5 does not currently have the ability to import data for use with renaming. Currently, the barcode / QR code scanning workflow is the only way to achieve this result. Nonetheless, it is an interesting idea and wee will share that with the software team for consideration.

    I am amazed and shoked in the same time. For such an advanced tether app you CAN'T apply a crop !! What if you shoot with 3 cameras a really high volume of products with different dimensions? Should i crop them manually after? Even Packshot Creator does a better job at this.... totally dissapointed.

      Thanks for your feedback. We will certainly pass along this suggestion to the development team for review.
      However, it is worth mentioning that the Lightroom Classic Plug-In can be used to make (and automatically apply) adjustments to images during a tethered session. This includes cropping as well as any other image adjustments. In fact, this will typically be the default setting in a Lightroom Classic Tethered Session. Therefore, you should only need to adjust the first image in the session using the crop tool or any other tool in the develop module. Then, Lightroom Classic will apply the previous settings to all incoming images, thereby automatically cropping them as they come into Lightroom Classic.
      The plug-in can be used with any compatible camera, except for Canon models.
      Hopefully that information is helpful. Again, thank you for your feedback on the software.
