Truly splendid work of Art, the concept, the composition, the artistic touch. A dragon frozen in the ice, two vikings going across it, the small details like reflection on the water, the fire in the boat. I don't have words to explain in words, just imagining I'm in that boat exploring that place giving me goosebumps.

First of all, thank you for these challenges ! Even when we are not in the top 10 we are able to improve our arts and to get some visibility ! Regarding those challenges, the way they are done is really good in my opinion.

Love seeing your videos and the incredible talent you have and share. In my opinion, I would have liked to see a particle effect to make it look like it was snowing... that would have definitely topped this off and make it look even colder.
First, amazing piece, I love this difference in scale between "the monster and the characters", it always gives a sense of real danger and even a certain feeling of impotence as a human beingI'm very happy with the 6th position. As Phase said, there washad a lot of amazing artworks, being in the top 10 and having the work recognized by one of my biggest sources of inspiration certainly gave me a boost for the next challenges. I think the contest and competition is going in right way. More people participated and the entries were more competitive. Hence why u had to choose 10 instead of 5. So Don't make it easier just because some beginners underperformed. But do make the template different each time.
And please be more specific in the roles. Some people didn't utilized the tree as much as they were supposed to where in fact, the tree was supposed to be the main object and not doing it kinda gives the impression that the contestant can literally create whatever they want without paying any respect to the template.

A lot of fun to play with the assets. Definitely more rules needed, such as "must use X assets, but may add more" or "may use any 1 or more of the assets". Depends on how similarly you want to compare the images. But, hey! you are just starting the contests and I think they are quite creative, so you do you!

Awesome creations, congrats to everyone on the list and especially Jendi! Not to forget the frozen dragon, that's another great piece. A little feedback for upcoming challenges (or atleast things I'd like to see personally). Something like honorable mentions would be awesome, as others have already stated. They don't need to be looked at as closely as the top 10, but a few short impresssions for other submissions would be interesting. A thing for the challenge itself: I like the difficulty level you currently have, but in my opinion some more rules would help. For this challenge, for example, you could have made it clear that the character and the tree have to be in the finished artwork and have to be clearly noticable. That's no critique on the way it was done, just something I came up with to have a clearer direction for upcoming challenges. Keep it up man!
Actually, he said the tree, the character and the background/grass had to be in the image in the original video, but, obviously, it doesn't all have to be there. So, it looks like, as long as at least the 2 heroes (the character and the tree) were somewhere in the image it counted.

If my drawing is the layer on top of the background and my panting/ shading is a new layer on top of my drawing layer. Why is my pencil drawing layer bleeding through the painting later it's not like I place the drawing on top of the painting layer. Why can I see through every single layer when everything is turned on I want layers to sit on top of each other not be see-through all the time. Any tips that you can give me on this??? Anybody??
