I noticed many Indian people (if not most) have these features to a great extent even the women. But most are considered unattractive despite having all the features listed. Even some other added attractive features (on top of the former mention) to the greatest extent compared to other ethnicities like full lips, almond eyes, and hair (including brow, lash, and facial) density, length, and quality. Obviously there’s exceptions like the guy from heroes and no one should be disheartened by a over-generalization. The dude from heros is easily on the most attractive people in existence.
Edit: Sendhil Ramamurthy is his name. Also it’s not a media influence or culture thing. People are attractive regardless of those variables. You can’t get rid of being handsome or beautiful because from media portrayal. I’m sure some of your actors like Hrithik Roshan doesn’t care that Evan Peters is considered hot in America and Apu is the most well known figure for his country. He’s still going to be considered more attractive by 99.998-100% of the people who know them both.

Actually had to look at the pictures of Indian men to compare what an attractive vs unattractive one would look like and what the difference would be. I figured that the skin pigmentation around eyes as well as prominence of aegyo sals give out “tired” look, and I think that could be one of the main reasons why Indians perceived less attractive. This would actually explain so much about “whitewashing culture” in India. I think this specific CZcamsr has a video on how face pigmentation affects attractiveness, so you should probably watch that. Again, this is more of a personal observation, so the reason could be different
