Seriously, IIRC the man lost both of his legs due to diabetes complications and was living in destitute poverty before he died. You'd think that there would be something in place to help those men who gave so much of their life to this industry. Just something so they're not broke and homeless and at least have access to decent medical care. I mean, it probably wouldn't even make a dent in their in overall profits, especially considering there's so few wrestlers that even make to that age or are able to voluntarily retire in the first place.

I did the same. I even invented some new gimmicks etc. When I got bored. For example Al Sno became Vince McMahons friend and made money in the stock markets, he was Alan Snofield but in the end Vince stole his money LMAO. I had a figure of the Giant (Big Show) from WCW other wrestlers including tall ones like the Rock and Hulk Hogan were only knee high to him lol.
I was breathing a sigh of relief not to see any of mine here. I gave them to my cousin for a car boot sale.... Probably about 80 wrestlers from WCW and WWF mid to late 90's.
i ant about to spend over $1000 for an action figure that doesn't look like the wrestler it was based on.

There is no price. Men from the WWE will come to you house, dressed in black, and they will eradicate such figure.
They aren't worth too much money. On eBay the second highest one is a MOC Off the Ropes series 2 exclusive. The highest one is a deal of 3 Benoit figures

My favorite were the deluxe aggression figures by jakks,my favorite (idk how much it’s worth) but a deluxe Paul London with light blue pants, it was just such a cool figure
I think the only rare figure I have isn't going to be worth anything, but it's the Jeff Jarrett - Deluxe iMPACT! Series 1 figure with the hair variation. When I got Jeff to sign it, he told me I had the error version with his wrong hair color and they only made a few of them.

man.. I used to have so many of these... I still have the original WWF ring somewhere with the OLD figures that were big and made of heavy ass rubber. I made this game I would play with my friends where you pull them against the ropes and let them fly and the winner was decided by if A. They ended up in a pinning position or B. Flew out of the ring for a countout. Ill never forget the time I was using Andre the Giant and the only thing that saved me from a countout was the fact that his hair was so big he was hanging from it when it got caught on the top rope. Good times.

No mention of the exclusive WrestleMania X7 Matt Hardy from Jakks? I heard those were given out whenever SmackDown Just Bring It was first shown. Few exist, but the rest of the line is easy enough to find. The Matt, however, is another story. I may be a Hardy collector, but I will NEVER own that figure due to rarity and price.

I had a bunch of black cards. I had one of Axe or Smash and one of Hawk or Animal. They look similar! Also had a Big Boss Man. I sold the Hawk/Animal on eBay in the early-2000s for around $150 - it was in nice shape. And I remember someone sold a pile of mint black cards on eBay years ago as well - they weren't opened ones, either.
I remember going to Value City and they had the tag-teams on clearance - I remember they had the Iron Shiek/Nikolai Volkoff tag team boxed sets and couldn't move them. I checked eBay and they're going for over $400 now! Amazing! I wonder if any sealed cases are hiding out somewhere in some old toy store? One can always dream!

I was never a fan of the large figures so I have a ton of the dis-continued micro series, where they only had movable arms, legs and spinning heads, no joints or necks. They were they greatest toys I ever had, use to tape a string to the ceiling and hang belts from it all the way to the floor so I could have ladder matches

The Kamala was actually a prototype . Also another mega rare Hasbro figure is the series 1 Rick Rude with pink tights instead of purple . Now I don't own any of these kinds of rare figures , but my wrestling collection consists of ring worn outfits by various wrestlers over the years .
as a kid i always liked the WCW action figures better because they were more flexable, you could actually do like pile-drivers and powerbombs correctly, the WWF ones were more for show i think.

I'm fairly sure Mattel made a WM7 Warrior Elite figure, but it costs such a large amount of money (usually $75 is the bottom end and goes up from there) that I'll never have one.
I remember when I was younger my dad always told me for every A I got on my report card I'd get a wrestling figure and if I got all A's he'd buy me a brawling buddy with the figures, I remember passing the stared kamala and passing it up for a limited edition macho man
I'm actually relieved that these didn't turn out to be any I had (a collection of about 100) when I was a kid. Principally because they were played with, and unfortunately later on became stained with ink from an exploded felt tip pen (no I don't know what happened either). Rick Martell also had one foot missing after I threw him against a wall in a typical 11 year old meltdown. I think my HBK Hasbro is still around somewhere, I used him as a desk ornament.
