To be honest, Giyu deserves a happy life too.. He lost his sister when he was a child..He lost his only friends..The way Hashira treats him (especially Sanemi and Obanai) is just stupid and pointless..He deserves even more love than Shinobu. Although her sister was killed before her eyes, she was then in her teens (probably..), and Giyu, as I said earlier, lost his sister at a young age..Can you imagine what a blow it was for him? Plus, he also saw with his own eyes how the demon killed his friends..And he still blames himself for their death, he believes that he does not deserve to be Hashira..To be honest, I feel sorry for Giyu more than all the other Hashiras (except Mitsuri, of course)..
