I'm from South Cotabato and I saw Mt. Matutum very clear from my town. It also got more clear when I went to Cannery as it took portion of Malungon (Sarangani), Polomolok, and mainly Tupi. Tupi got most of it's parts so most people went there to enter Mt. Matutum.
I'm from Albay, seeing Mt. Mayon everyday in the morning is very relaxing. Amazed of her beauty đ„â„ïž

I'm from a neighboring town in Iriga.
Based from the folk stories, the caldera contains a massive amount of water which flows out to lake buhi when the erruption occurs.
Hypothetically the caldera was destroyed due to the eruption.

I never thought how beautiful Babuyan Island is ! I only read and heard of this place in the northern tip of Luzon in Philippine history class. Batanes now has been discovered as a potential tourists spot, why not Babuyan Island , right?

I thinks this list was about the most active volcanoes.. Philippines has 300 volcanoes. We had a total of 53 volcanoes w/c are both considered active and potentially active volcanoes (dormant).
Mt. Apo is also n active volcano w/c wasn't mentioned, then we also had an "unnamed" volcano that recently caused an earthquake. However I thank you for this information because it added add up to my knowledge about the nmes of volcanoes in the Philippines.. Thank You :)
if we have 24 active, 26 potentially active then we have 250 inactive yung mountain na my mga gullies coz we have 300 volcanoes in the country.my brochure ang DOST-PHIVOLCS about volcanoes dapat magbigay sila sa sch so well informed pupils coz dati 23 lang active coz mt.iriga is potentially active now active na coz nagerupt cya in the 16th century.

There are 4 volcanoes in between Camarines Sur and Albay ... then further the big one is in Sorsogon. God help the Bicolandia if all of them erupt at the same time.
There is one in Camarines Norte, Mt Labo, they said the mountain boasts high content water-rich magma or super hydrous primitive arc magmas.

Your mistake is to only respect Volcano's and the strenght of Mother Earth, when its too late... Feel blessed that the humongously DIRTY Taal-volcano only erupted minorly... As its magma-composites contain high concentrations of sulphur, the Taal could erupt into an enormous 'Dirty bomb'! Normally, the ashy aftermath of any Volcanic-eruption would be the greatest catastrophe, yet the Taal has 'a special' thing with also a highly intoxicating aftermath! On 'top' of that: the Taal has a very dangerous construction too; a rather 'large' caldera, feeding into a crater, within a volcanic lake, within a Crater. that lies within a volcanic Lake(which is the entire Caldera-depression!). A 'proper' eruption of this béast, could cause the entire lake to collapse onto the magma-chamber, triggering a måssive explosive eruption! The Taal is one of the world's most dangerous volcano's, because of this!

This new to me since I only know Mayon, Taal and Pinatubo. Didn't know Cagayan has many volcanoes maybe that is why the plain was fertile aside from the Cagayn river.
