- Ever wondered how the top tumblers on the market hold up against each other? We put BruMate, Corkcicle and YETI tumblers to an ice test.
We filled the tumblers with ice and water and let them bask in the spicy summer Florida sun for 8 hours. These are the results....

The exact video I needed!
With the Brumate being black, I would have expected it to be last. The fact that it still had ice is amazing!
That’s what I was thinking too going into it. Their insulation is rock solid for performance. It’s too small for me to use as a tumbler so I primarily use my trio just for cans. I use my Corkcicles as primary tumblers.

I think that (like someone else already mentioned here), for the test to really be accurate, they should all be the same size and color. The rest is on the companies that make them-stuff like the wall thickness, and whether the lid is clear or not, etc.
Thanks for the informative video. I tend to buy the Brumate trio for multiple functions. The only thing I worry is the thin paint cover
It's a comfortable grip on the BruMate and Corkcicle. Corkcicle has a few designs that have a similar finish as the BruMate Trio in this video. It's a nice finish. It's like a rubber matte finish.
Not 100% on how thick it is coated on the tumbler. Wouldn't be too concerned about that though. I could see if it was dropped a lot that it might eventually get nicked up but nothing to scare me away.
I use my personal trio and Corkcicle tumbler that have this finish on a weekly basis for 6 months now and they look brand new still when washed.

@@justgrillin thank you for your sharing :)
I’m glad you did this video. I just ordered the brumate. What do you think of the Stanley thirst quencher?
Thank you. I have not seen that one in person. Most premium tumblers stack up pretty well next to each other. It’s not like if someone were to choose any of the other tumblers in this video that it would be a “bad” or “wrong” choice. Really just comes down to how it’s going to be used, size needed and design that’s preferred.
I use my Corkcicle around the office. I use my Yeti outdoors and I use my BruMate as a can/bottle cooler.

I’m excited!!! I just got 3 brumates for gifts and myself!!!
How much did you get it for?
Mine tax and all was $66 for two. They were $29.99 a piece off the brumate website. I find with these insulated cups that the seal wears out or the flip lid breaks off. If I like these then I'll just order new parts.
Just bought two of the brumate trio. Should be here Thursday. I find these tests kind of overkill. I like the temperature test the best. I mean if you can't drink one of those in a couple hours then geez lol.
I like my Trio a lot. That’s the one I use most around my house. The test might seem like overkill but it does have some merit to it. I agree, most people are finishing a drink in a few hours. But you can apply this to the larger sizes. I just picked three as close in size as I could.

Is the small circle a place for a straw??
Impressive…considering the Brumate is black and would have absorbed more heat
I love the brumate insulation but can’t find anything online about it’s durability. Yetis coated finishes make them sooo tough I’ve dropped it countless times and never dented scratched or chipped ever. meanwhile my corkcicle paint constantly chips and my hydro flask has gotten so dented and still gets scratched sometimes too. Sigh.
The BruMate can get nicked up if you’re prone to dropping it a lot or knocking it in to things. It’s a soft touch texture but it’s pretty durable from what I’ve seen. I don’t take mine on super outdoorsy stuff but have dropped it around the house/pool patio plenty of times. It’s doing fine.
Really just depends on what you’re using them for. Yeti designs their products for rugged outdoor adventures. BruMate is more for laid back party or tailgating type stuff.

I have both and the brumate gets chipped and dented so easily, definitely prefer my yetis for durability!
I’m so disappointed in the yeti lol I have a ton Yetis and now 2 Brumates. But like others have mentioned at least the yetis are designed for durability and outdoorsy activities.
All three are great options. The BruMate is just such a Swiss Army Knife. I personally use my Corkcicles for tumblers around the office, house and gym. I use my BruMates on the weekend for bottles and cans. It is cool how the BruMate performed though in this test. Thanks for watching.

@@justgrillin thanks for the demonstration :)
How much production value went into this video for just 400 views lmao? Thanks, though, you helped me out.
Really wasn't much effort at all in making it. More of a waiting game. Can't speed up real time. Thanks for watching. Glad it helped.
It would have been nice to see the same size containers and color... "If it was going to be scientific"
Sadly, none of them make the exact same size so just doing as close to possible. I point out that they aren't all the same size. It's not like any of the results were "undrinkable." It's just a simple test to show how these stack up/perform.
Corkcicle Hands Down. The BruMate is impossible to open.
