I hate it any time I spill fuel on the tank, you know at the start sometimes there's some petrol in the hose already, or when you are tapping the drips at the end, but just when you think no more drips, a drip hits the tank. Hate that
I always use my glove to protect it. I hate it too.

you have to hold the gas nozzel upside down so it cant drip anywhere until youre holding it over the gas tank hole
I was saving up for a new-ish bike when all this tornado happened. Damn I hope I'll have something leftover once I'm done fixing the wife's Jeep, my truck, and the house so I can afford a good new-to-me bike. I've pretty much got all the Jeep parts found, just need to get them. I've got all the parts for the truck found and paid for, just need to figure out how to get them here to the house. But the wife's Jeep gets fixed first. The damage to the Jeep isn't anywhere near as bad as the truck. My truck is probably going to take 6 to 9 months to fix completely. I've got to replace part of the roof, the C-pillar, both pass. side doors, the windshield, the grill, the hood, both rear view mirrors, and the entire dash. Which includes everything that's in the dash, due to a limb roughly as big around as a mans leg that went through the windshield, through the center of the dash, and didn't stop till it hit the floor. So the stereo, EQ for the stereo, all of the HVAC controls, HVAC ductwork, pass. side airbag, along with various other controls. I'm leaving out other stuff just because those who might read this get the point. I just got lucky and found two trucks that are parts vehicles. One a 99 and the other an 04. The only thing wrong with them is blown motors. GEEZ.... It's a good thing I'm a mechanic!!

Had 2 trees come down on my truck. Just put my savings into parts in the engine compartment. Destroyed damn near every lense and panel on the entire truck. The center bar on the ladder rack was the only body part not destroyed
I like to stayed topped off as well. Only problem is first gallon out of hose is usually 87 octane cause that’s what most people use, so unless you a lot it lowers yours. Your just flushing the hose out with 93 for the next guy. These litter bikes really need 93 especially with a flash.
So far I’d fit on every pass so far

Goat, in case you didn't see it, I think the issue with your throttle may be the throttle sensor itself. What was the code again? Wasn't the bike dropped off the lift on that side?
