I was the drug addict that went to church I wanted to be free but I wasn't I keeped praying and going to church I got saved and got delivered from Meth ,Heroin, pills I have been clean for 3years going on 4 let me say I have No desire for drugs at all I want to thank God for everything he's done if you don't know him repent for your sins and ask God to come into your heart and serve him with your full heart he can do all things there's nothing that God can not do

He helping his congregation to feel good about themselves is no crime, it's not like they're gonna feel like they are holy or saints, it's just helping them to be positive. I don't think anyone would want to go God's house and return completely broken. And how do you mean we don't have potential? Why then did He give us our own will?
Jay Vansickle well He is sure preaches the Word from Isaiah 61 ..and I believe he is anointed to preach good tidings to the poor, to heal the broken hearted , to proclaim liberty to the captives, to comfort those who mourn and the message of salvation through Jesus Christ and that He alone should be glorified...other than that he is just a man with a personality that may not suit everyone..to each his own but the Lord speaks clearly to me through this ministry..say what you will...I’ve been at the end of myself many times and these messages have lifted me out of the lowest place..I give God all the glory but thanks to Pastor Furtick for being a willing vessel...hopefully everyone can find the right church and messenger for themselves...🙏❤️

“The greatest proof that you’re doing good in Gods sight is when you’re taken for granted in people’s sight”. Someone needs to hear that today.
Earlier today, I asked God if He would even see me if He walked through the classroom door. There have been many times a day for the past few weeks that I have been struggling with feeling "taken for granted" by others. God is so good! He knew what His children needed today.
People always celebrate what they see not knowing what happens behind the scenes .They can celebrate your car not knowing you are neck deep in credit. The world celebrate what it sees but God knows the unseen. #word! !!!
Discouragement is my worst
When busy long work hours too tired get distracted - feel lonely at home by myself in my bedroom . No one to talk to that understands that Yes, I have a wonderful church family on Sunday's
Its during the week I struggle

I've been asking God why I feel so unsatisfied with life. No matter how much I seem to pray & seek God, I still feel like there's something missing.
I suppose that this is my answer.
Even though my intentions with God are pure, there is still a huge part of me that wants to be validated by people. I know that I shouldn't need or want other people's validation. There are so many things that I've twisted around in my head about God in order to suit my own personal needs. I walk around hoping that someone may notice that I really am a good person. I do have talent, but God has hidden it for the time being. I just wish someone would notice my value, and that someone would appreciate me. I feel like I'm stuck in the past, in a time where I felt helpless and misunderstood by my peers. I feel like I'm stuck in a time where no one cared to hear what I had to say, and my own words would used agaisnt me in the wrong context. I still feel like there are eyes on me even though there isn't. I still feel like I'm being judged. The worst part is, even when people do acknowledge and compliment me, I am never able to really let that compliment sink in. Instead, I feel an overwhelming pressure to do better. It wasn't until recently that I took notice of the fact that I dream about "doing/being better" on a consistent daily basis. I think that I offer a lot, but at the same time don't measure up to society standard. I so badly want to do God's work. But even then, will I ever be enough?
No one has to know who I really am, for the Father does.
Trying to prove myself to others will do me no good.

What you wrote sent shivers down my spine!! Because you are NOT alone in your feelings because I feel the exact same way as you do! I have this hope for you, me and all of the other people who are feeling THIS same way! My hope is that we realize what is going on within each one of us AND what and who is the one that is causing this within each of us, right? I just finished watching and listening to another sermon from Pastor Steven F. that was published on 5/26/2020, titled, “You Can’t Let Others Control You”, is a great sermon to hear, and it’s less than 18 minutes long. That sermon referred me to this full sermon (Published on 01/20/2020).
I’m sorry this comment is so long Mykayla! This is something that is on my heart for some reason and I try very hard to listen to HIS still small voice!
Although I don’t know you at all Mykayla, I could feel the pain in your heart as I read your eloquently and beautiful words in your comments! Mykayla, I hope you know that you have a wonderful gift 🎁 of writing! If you don’t do this professionally, then you may want to consider it! Cuz I gotta say I think it may be a calling for you 🙏🏻 And ya know people can have more than one calling 🤗 ! I am fairly new to Pastor Steven F. and I truly love the way he preaches!! I have found that I love a lot of different Pastors now and each one of them teaches me what I need! I’ve also found that when the devil distracts me and discourages me, and he does this on a daily basis and throughout my entire day, too, it seems to be those times that I get caught up in his lies and destruction in my life and my heart! (Uh BTW, it’s kinda saddens me to realize that he has been doing this for years now and I’m just now realizing it!) Please don’t give up Mykayla!! Please let yourself just Be! ... But find your Rest in JESUS CHRIST!! By reading HIS Word! When I become Sooo overwhelmed with life, I begin to read GOD’S WORD, I find some of my favorite passages of Scripture and read them. Someone told me to read GOD’S PROMISES aloud, reading one of them at a time and then reflecting on it (still not sure how I’m doing in this particular area!) 😉 I was told to get sticky notes and write the ones I need to hear or I just want to have available for me to see!
Again, I am sorry for my lengthy comments to you! This is just one of my weaknesses! Remember that YOU ARE LOVED! GOD LOVES YOU MYKAYLA!! THE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE LOVES YOU DEAR ONE! And HE wants to BLESS YOU with all of HIS BLESSINGS! (I try to wrap my head around that about me, and I gotta say it’s really really hard for me!). Best part of the message. We come from a place of Victory!!! 🤍 We've already won the devil can't do anything to us when we're with Christ. So the more we shine in Christ's victory to ourselves and to those around us the less we'll believe the devil's lies, distractions and discouragement.
I want to share what God has done for my life. God has delivered me from alcohol cocaine crack heroin. God has delivered me from cutting/ self injury. God has also delivered me from bulimia/ anorexia and all eating disorders. God also has delivered me from an numerous suicide attempts. I love you Lord God. Also one more thing 7 years ago God delivered me from all form of nicotine.thank you God you never cease to amaze me with your deliverance from all these things. I love you Lord
This message really moved me.. I'm so thankful God saw, He saw me through the toughest times when no one else came to my rescue. He saw all my highs and the lows that are too bad to mention and even after i backslid he welcomed me home with love and my life has changed completely and in so many wonderful ways.. all because He loves me an He sees me through x

Yep! I felt led by the spirit to give this couple that appeared to be homeless some money. I was with my aunt when I first saw them. I didn't give it to them at the time. Because I didn't want anyone to know. I went back to Walmart where I saw them, but I didn't see them. I stopped to get gas when I was getting ready to go home. I happened to look over there and there they were. I ended up going to my car and getting the money for them.
Your comment made me pause. I was thinking "you didn't want to set an example showing your aunt generosity, weird". Then I thought "God will make a way where there seems to be no way". God knows our hearts. Whether others are around or not, I do what's pressed upon me. I'd rather give and not worry about extra rewards in heaven- I mean, it's heaven. 💗 Thanks for sharing this. 😊

A timely message to this broken world we're living in. God in still available with open arms and heart waiting for their prodigal children to go back home to him. We only live 1 life and let's live it with God being our foundation, center and head of our lives. Nothing in this world, may it be all the money, fame, praises of people etc can fill the void and be ever enough than living for Christ. The part where about being seen by others can keep us from being known by god. Bc we now are in a era where anything that is done has be seen on social media and takes such a urge of character to be god like without confirmation from man instead of confirmation from god. My adult kids and I have been estranged since their dad left 8 years ago. Everything is a mess. I've been trying to heal from their dads abuse but the triggers are tough.... memories in my mind.... sometimes the depression overtakes me. I'm praying for my kids healing and to come back to Jesus. I'm just tired. The alienation has taken its toll on me.
@Cindi Haeseker I am not In the exact same situation but I do live with some alienation. Today God Réminded me of the times He has rescued me...literally from death. And I felt reassured that God sees me and will help with a problem I feel alone and anxious in right now. And then I come home to this message. God sees us and He has kept us (and your children ) Alive for a reason. He isn’t done with us yet and no weapon fashioned against us shall prosper. Furthermore, this is the message of grace that many pastors leave out of their ministry, but is the foundation of Christ's ministry.
I know God sees them even when they cant see past the darkness rite now. Thank you for this message really needed it tonight ,I know God sees his children feels their pain hears their cry ,exactly someone said that to me today that they didn't know if they could keep going another day. My compassion is to help the brokenhearted in addiction feeling hopeless.

Listening from Decatur/Atlanta. I'm 70 in 4 months. I had a lot of living. Too know the truth when I hear It. This was so true for me. The other day I asked on Facebook. How do people take their own picture. My Nephew texted me and said. What is wrong with these young people. I told him I didn't want too get beat up. So I will be nice, so I said they have a chance too show off. Without being face too face. There was more. But you said it better. So I will share this too all my Facebook friends and family. Thanks for letting me know, when I feel along, god is listening too me. I love this!!

I’m so happy that God has finally delivered me from the addiction of constantly projecting and being “seen” via social media. It really was a stronghold in my life!! Thankful for God’s grace and love!!

The father saw is such a powerful message I believe if we focus on that just like your son we’d put the extra effort to be better
If someone is attending church looking for a potential lover than I say praise the lord and God bless them. They may think that's why they are going but I promise you they are hearing something will touch their hearts, and a parent would much rather send a daughter on a date with someone from church over someone they met in a club or a random dating app!!! At least that's my opinion. God bless you for you are truly beautiful.....and yes, I'm talking to you.
Wow what a powerful message, I only wish everyone could hear this message. So many people wanting to fit in and have approval of people they never feel full then they feeding theirselves with pig slope dieing with addiction.

An extension of the story some of us behave like the elder brother, when God received those who may have gone a stray and come home we get upset with God.

Oh I just love how real and down to earth he is!! He always ties everything so we'll together. This is the best preacher I've ever heard. Wish I could come to this church but I dont miss a sermon. I have gotten so much closer to God. I'm hard on myself and put a lot of doubt of not being worthy or chosen. And every sermon always helps me realize that's not true. Thank you
I enjoy listening to this message he teach me a lot that the father doesn't see my mistake but when he sees me he sees the finish work of his son Jesus
We do this seeking approval from the wrong ones. Hard to break this instilled action. All things through CHRIST!!! HE IS THE ONLY WAY TO OVERCOME!

Living and sharing in a world surrounded by people who can't see and are fighting to drag me down... I am praying for a place that will edify me and encourage continuance. My tank is nearly empty. Could use a bit of help. God, I don't want a trophy. I just want to be what you wanted for me.
