Its been on a downslide ever since. When you watch the really early episodes you realise what a great show this used to be. Back then the writing was top notch, the storylines were really riveting. Because it was a very painful experience, and it highlights how Steffy has always manipulated where Hope and Liam were concerned. ETA: I just rewatched it and Hope never said she forgave Steffy for the Aspen wedding. She was referring to Steffy and Liam kissing. That Aspen wedding was a big turning point, no wonder Hope had bad feelings about it. It's HOPE that doesn't owe Steffy anything.
I loved how they have numerous story lines that have their own story with out mentioning Hope. The writers need to go back to this. Other people have their own lives at Forrester.
