1991 Apple Cup

On November 23rd, The Cougars came to Husky Stadium to face one of the most dominant teams in the history of college football, the 1991 Huskies. When the game ended at 56 - 21, the team from the University of Washington had again asserted itself as a great team.
The victory propelled the Huskies to the Rose Bowl where they would later defeat the University of Michigan and claim a share of the national championship with the University of Miami.
