    Thanks for the explanation. I was the grade rod boy when my dad was in the business. And he was using just a transit then but eventually got one like you there . Enjoyed the video.

    Just found your channel and this was an excellent explanation. Thanks, this is what I’m going to try and learn to use to up my productivity next dirt season. Been considering a laser level for awhile but you’re exactly right just feel a bit intimidated by them.

    Like the video, Have you ever tried using a "Lenker Rod"..also know as a direct reading rod? Makes grade reading so much easier and removes math mistakes.

    Stick with the Topcon, RL-H5A, very good and great safety features Nice video but little fast on the camera work, like me contractor not film producer 👍👍

    Metric is obviously the same principle, but so much easier. Everything building related is measured in millimeters.

    3 foot, 9/10 and 3/100's damn i'm so happy I use Metric!! 10 millimeters are 1 centimeter. 10 centimeters is 1 decimeter. 10 decimeter is 1 meter....hahaha
