BOOKS
I only mentioned Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers in the video. There are quite a few contemporary fiction books if you look and obviously lots of more theological books.
I particularly want to recommend:
1. God Has A Name by John Mark Comer - explores the significance of God being someone that we can not only know about but also know for ourselves
2. The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis - written from the perspective of a senior demon to his underling (pretty crazy) and just explores life and saving faith through a really unique lens.
Whew, okay. That's a lot of things and yet only the tip of the iceberg, again I hope this is useful as a launching off point or if you're just looking for something new!
The Chosen is honestly such an amazing show. I also never have the words to describe it to people😭
