@@ZOROASTED They are! Do go sometime, the WEC at Spa (allways in May) is a great 6hr race and Le Mans is... well, it's Le Mans!

3 of my all time favorite cars shown within the first 10 seconds of the video. I’m hooked.
The speed record is 405 kph, which is held by Peugeot P88. It was built specifically to beat the speed record. The two cars entered suffered from reliability issue. One car was able to reach 400kph on the Mulsanne straight for a few laps and then was forced to retire due to high stresses on the engine and other problems.

Hey Larry - longtime viewer, first time caller. 😉
The F1 GTR Longtail you have filmed here is chassis 26R which has remained a part of the BMW Classic collection in Munich since it retired from competition. There are two other longtails GTRs that currently wear the FINA livery.
Lawrence Stroll (Lance’s father) used to own chassis 23R, after acquiring it back in 2004. It left his collection in 2021 and has changed hands twice in recent years. It now resides in the world’s best collection of classic and modern McLarens based in Chicago - one of 5 McLaren F1’s they currently own.
The third GTR Longtail wearing the FINA livery is chassis 21R which was acquired by Sam Li / Veloqx in 2014 and is sometimes seen at private track cars at Yas Marina Circuit, or his own private track in Spain.
One thing I should add here, as it confuses people who focus on the details, but 26R wears the wrong version of the FINA livery. The #42 and drivers Lehto / Soper / Piquet piloted GTR 24R at Le Mans 1997, and unfortunately that car failed to finish the race.
It’s not clear why BMW Classic have made this decision, but 26R should wear #43 and have drivers Kox / Ravaglia / Helary listed on the side. They finished the 1997 Le Mans race in 3rd place overall. You would think BMW would prefer to keep this GTR that way to celebrate its actual result…

Absolute insanity they have that F1 out for the public to view. One has to think there’s armed security and a sniper around with orders to shoot if someone even looked at it the wrong way
