Tim voice rocks! I like his hot 1 minute tips and his soothing oratorical abilities. Tim and Charlie Craven are the clearest instructors for me, although I miss the days when Tim used the DK jaws in his videos.

I like that post furling method, simple and effective. The materials handlings tips are great too. Anyone new to fly tying may find Oholi’s flies CZcams content helpful. The thread spinning to make it jump in the direction you want etc he provides a lot on this and thread control on general plus pull up to pull down. I’ll hope now to fish the rivers in Mad Rivers area and visit that shop. I’m usually fishing here in Austria so it’ll be a total change of scenery! Thanks for providing such great videos, I adopted using furled leaders based on your excellent leader presentations. Thank you.

Those hackles pointing down makes the fly sinks easily. Tim’s method actually avoids that, and makes the fly float much longer.

Dave Whitlock showed us that trick with the dubbing, 50 years ago. You just pinch and anchor the end of your dubbing and start wrapping. He was doing large buggy bodies, but it works just as well with a few fibers. Either way the material gets wrapped around the thread and self feeds.
