Nice review. Lots of others are not fond of the UI either, and this will keep me from purchasing this light. I would like to see a less floody lens on this light as well, a 10-degree lens would be my preference. Hopefully, Simon checks out your channel as well as other flashlight channels to make himself aware of these issues. Thank you for the great review!
Biggest issue is slow and linear ramp in my opinion. Tho it is new UI, and I have info, that Simon is working on other UI most of us like on other flashlights :)
Hi. S21F or S21D on nichia 4500k - who is best? I have m21e on xhp70.3 5000k - big for me and light green tint in white. I want small flashlight with 3-4 nichia leds and I want there to be a type-c port if possible.
Can this flashlight use a 21700 battery with button top and protected board? I just bought this flashlight but it's IMPOSSIBLE to find a flat top unprotected 21700 battery! No stores in my country sells that type of battery, and the only stores I've found online does NOT ship to my country 😑 Except maby Amazon but I don't enter that site for reasons of principle.

Too much yellow snow for my taste from the 519a. I prefer the GT FC40 for that reason.

Hello, just tested it with Cyansky protected button top battery. It fits and works :)

I like the black color of the body more than the grey Simon uses in the M21F.
Which do you like better, the s21f or s21d with the 219b led and why?
I always prefer those with side button, so I like S21F more even with unfinished UI.

Yes it is wide, would be great if there would be different angle options for TIR lens
