Why You Should Get a Lithium Golf Cart Over Traditional Batteries

- Just a brief overview of why lithium is better. Unfortunately it cannot truly be described until a lithium cart is driven but its definitely the best upgrade ive made. My first Cart was gas and while it did have tons of range it lacked the ability to go slow as smoothly and gas carts have much less torque than electric. I just recently got rid of my traditional battery cart and purchased this lithium and it is a massive world of difference.

Just ordered a MD Mak Daddy Pro golf cart and was kinda talked into the 56ah Lithium Battery over the basic acid or Trojan battery. After watching your video here, I feel relieved that the extra $1000 is going to be worth it. 👍
Have you enjoyed the Makdaddy brand?
I'm about to purchased a Yamaha G29 with the drive 2 quietech. Holds for 4 gallons and gets 300 miles a tank.
I love all this new battery tech. I just hate range anxiety
I was in the market for gas I wish the triple lithium pack was available so I would’ve had 90 miles of range
Hello, great video. I just purchased lithium 48v E Z Go. The cart does not have a battery gage installed. Did you install yours? Please advise.
Just got an L6 with a triple lithium pack and built in charger. Goes about 20-21 mph. Figuring on about 80 mike range.
I wish I had the 3 pack. I get around 23 miles at 25mph
25-30 if I’m more stop and go
Thanks, very helpful info
What's the battery capacity?
What tires are you running? They are sharp.
I can’t remember what they are but they are the stock tires
How did you adjust the top speed to 25mph? Mine is limited to 19.
The dealer flashes the factory controller
@@BrandonActionJackson how much does this flashing service cost?
@@willprice7126 not sure my golf cart dealer includes it but there are devices you can purchase
I’m to concerned about the fire hazard I’ve been seeing with lithium batteries. Not worth burning my house down
Would it work to drive on the beach?
I mean I wouldn’t do that just because I wouldn’t want to expose it to those elements
Does the golf cart fit on your trailer?
Yes but backwards only
EVERYTHING about the LITHIUM-ION BATTERY / DRIVE SYSTEM is better than Lead- Acid Batteries (6,8,) EXCEPT THE COST ..... but over time it will not be the $1,500 dollar differential as priced up front. GBjj
do you have to charge this every day even when not using it?
If it’s fully charged it will stay charged for quite a while . I unplug it after charging every time
Cost ? $3000.00 ?
How much was the golf cart?
@@BrandonActionJackson yes
@@5starr.collin666 it was 18k
@@BrandonActionJackson GOD DAMNNNNNNNNNN
@@5starr.collin666 it retails for much less than that it’s just converting one to street legal that’s costly
The price
18k
@Random Offensive guy not exactly the same this one is street legal from dealer
@Random Offensive guy that’s less than retail of a non street legal cart. How fast does your go
@Random Offensive guy mine is flashed for a full 25 mph. Not many dealers sell these as street legal as EzGo doesn’t make a street legal cart
@Random Offensive guy I thought you said you had the same cart?
No one with a good mine should by ev cart waste of money battery will cost a fution
Ev is the only way to go in my opinion nowadays
Not very compelling for the bulk of people because we aren’t using our carts for NASCAR racing.
Well speed isn’t caused from lithium. Range is. My golf cart is street legal and it’s the norm for where I live
I actually found this review extremely compelling as well as being informative. I’m not using mine for a race car but i am using it on the ranch for cruising my property. I enjoy a quiet battery operated vehicle opposed to a gas motor so that i can sneak up on wildlife and view its beauty in its natural habitat. A lithium battery gives me the power to get up hills as the battery is wearing down that a traditional lead battery would not have. Also i did not know there is an 8 years warranty on this battery. As Brandon stated you wont get that kind of warranty or service on a lead battery. Brandon sold me on both points and i am now willing to go another $4k or so to get something that will provide performance and longevity. Thanks Brandon, great review!
