More big car tracks should do more 1 weekend shows, or small series with other local big car tracks, for Bikes, Quads, and Go-Karts. it would put more sports in front of their attendies!!
MWEDT nationals series and the NEEDT nationals series.....they go to a few big car tracks like paducah and Muskingum county.
You need more safety equipment for bikes. As it turns out, slapping into exposed fencing is actually pretty bad for the human body.
I had an uncle that used to race back when David Aldana was the king of flat track and nobody could understand why he (my uncle) was suddenly walking away from the competition in all of his heats, that is until they discovered that he had built a custom, offset swing arm that kept more of the meat on the rear tire hooked up to the track in the corners. He was no Dave Aldana but boy was he fast for a while 🤪

Dude you need to do more investigating ! They always told me if you dont know please don't try to say ! The XR 750 had a 40 yr production run ! Last one came off production line 15 yrs ago ! There are many still running competitively !

I guess they had some very careful qualifying rounds. As fast as they go and no one got lapped. Good judgement by the organizers .

Flat Track will never be what it was in the old days when they had the Grand National Championship. Guys had to compete in Road Racing and Flat Track. There’s no incentive from the factories as they don’t sell bikes because of flat track racing

@@StarkRaven59 Actually, a non-factory racer did pretty good on the xr750 at Daytona. But you are correct the factory has turned its back on the sport since the xg750 failures.

They haven't made an xr750 in over 40 years . They wore out and no replacement parts.
Harley-Davidson has been paying for their Championship since 1968 to the AMA
The racing is good but these guys couldn't compete with the pros when Scott Parker rode
