- An investigation to find out if Biological washing powder or Non Biological washing powder is better at removing tough stains.
This lesson was linked to enzymes.
The outcome of the results was hidden from the students while they made predictions.
The outcome was that the material that was washed in biological washing powder had stains that were much more faded and most of them gone compared to the material that was washed in non-biological washing powder.
Persil explains the difference between bio & non-bio detergent here: www.persil.com/uk/laundry/lau...
well.. wont get that time of my life back..
top tip: if you're wanting better stain removal from any detergent, especially whites, use a longer, hotter wash. Daily Quick cycles are only designed for lightly soiled items, not heavy stains.
bios work best at lower tempratures
enzymes denature above 40C - any hotter and you'd "kill" the enzymes beyond usefulness.
@@noname-nv9uq absolutely, but bleaching agents are only activated in hotter temperatures. With modern, cold fill machines, the enzymes work as the water is heating and bleaching agents kick in once the temp is reached.
No results? 🤓
Pointless
so pissed off how did it just end with no pay off
😂😂😂
whats the point of the results. People need the story, and you can end it how you like in your imagination.
The results are written in the description of the video!
So this is supposed to be an exercise for students? You could have made it available only to people with the link. This would have saved us some time
I use Persil non bio liquid the cleaning results are amazing
