I think the difference is one couple likes being settled. Maybe they weren't so exciting to their previous mate but they are more reliable and consistent. Good relationships are difficult because it's hard to find two perfect people. If you can find a spouse who is 80% loyal, faithful, honest, and committed, you're lucky. No one is 100% perfect; everyone has 20% of flaws that differ from person to person. If you can tolerate that 20%, you're doing well.
Amy and TJ had 80% spouses who were loyal and honest, but they themselves were the 20%'ers in their marriages aka the trouble-makers and back-stabbers-the liars, cheaters, and disloyal ones. Now, the 20%'ers have ended up with each other, and their relationship is already falling apart, and will be a shat-show mark my words, a disaster, even though they're trying to cover it up. Tj & Amy's exes were the 80%'ers spouses, being good people, now they have an excellent chance of having a lasting marriage, if they don't bore each other (80%'ers are most likey about their business, not to much of a risk takers sometimes. 20%'ers are irresponsible so that's why they seek other 20%'ers, because ignorance is bliss and being serious, focused, and about your business can be boring. Not that they deserve to be cheated on. This is normally what happens from my perspective. Im not a psychologist) and I'm rooting for them.
