actually it's good for experimenting other makeup styles especially if you have hooded eyes and want to try cat eye eyeliner (which is can't do with hooded eyelid), it's really fun to try other things

Some do it so that they can try an eye makeup look, without going the extra mile. I had almond shape eyes, but as I age, my eyes have had a subtle change-the ends have become hooded. This is a better method than using tape because when you wet the tape, it is transparent, and I cannot see what I am doing. It is personal preference. As if I cared what people thought. 🙄🤪
