Finally posted 1! I'm proud of you! 😆👍👍 On a serious note, your past vids have been very informative just like im sure this 1 will be so please do more then 1 a year. These kids need all the help they can get. 🏁😎👍👍
Great work, man! There's not many people making videos or working on this platform (I'm one of them lol) but thanks for making this! I will definitely share with other members of the community, and hopefully do this myself someday!
this is dope !! i didn't know you did this on the side i definitely wanna learn my e350 transmission on my camry, i am currently about to fix my 5th gear on mt gearbox, i am definitely interested on seeing more of these types of videos ( also lol do you know where i can get some upgraded gears from ?? for the e350 or e351] ive been looking but it looks like only mtm Thailand .
Yes sir! They're really not too bad to do. Unfortunately I'm not aware of any aftermarket gears for the e350/351 transmissions. Best bet is to swap in the e153 (something I'll be doing soon)
I sooo want a 2016 tC but I have family members to haul around. After hearing that failure rate nevermind lol is that rate the same for the automatic? Great to see you, Chase!
Lol I hear you! Not really a family car. No the autos do not have this issue. Good to hear from you and thank you for the love and for always watching!
Hi there! Thanks for your video! Do you have the measurements for the shim ?? where can i find one ? where did you get the shims ? Toyota diler they need to know whats the exact measurement of the shim !!
The specific measurement depends on your transmission. There are many different sizes. This transmissions I added around .008" shim but it's from a stack of shims I use for various other types of gearbox work. If you don't have your shim size, you can use modeling clay without a shim installed, bolt the case together, then disassemble and measure the modeling clay and that gets you close. You probably want to go up about 0.004"-0.006" from what you measure
I do not know. I have not ran an eb60 in a personal vehicle. I think it would hold pretty close to that t without issue though. But like any transmission, the way it's driven has a lot more to do with it. For example launching a stock power car at a prepped drag strip on slicks at 7k rpm would likely break something

you said that the xB makes around 600 HP (saw the post through the forums). does the EB60 handle that amount of power?
