After not walking and doing grenade jumps for so long, driving a forklift must feel like driving a ghost.
This might be one of my favorite comments on youtube. Idk im a huge nerd all this lore knowledge and bam. F*** reach. "Master chief, Defend this forklift."
IF you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, if you can't crawl then grenade jump.
But whatever you do.

How do I get a kill with it? I want that achievement
Cheaf Min kill most of the enemies and leave one or two grunts then just repeatedly try and ram into them and eventually youâll get it. At least, this is what I did to get it anyway

Its almost like the devs knew someone was going to do this so they just stuck forklifts everywhere that no one uses
I didn't even know you could use forklifts until I accidentally got into one during a fight and died
mahat parthiban I only found out about forklifts when Reach came to the MCC. I had Reach for Christmas in 2011, and kept playing it all the way till this summer (was too busy/tired from work)

Try playing Titanfall 2 without Shooting! Itâs an incredible campaign that I feel like it can be done, especially since youâre given a cloak and you can bypass enemies entirely.
Good luck against viper. That's all imma say. it depends on what "shooting" counts as though.
Outcastsage9033 theres a titan class that can launch itself into the air, right? Just use that to get to vipers level (he also occasionally goes to the ground I believe)
Alex, I think he means in regards to the missiles, as Viper has seemingly unlimited access to the Flight Core. This I believe can be countered at least a fair bit with the use of the Vortex Shield, by collecting the missiles and then launching them back at Viper.
You can just punch/ melee

Halo reach will always be that one game that makes you sad, bungie's way of saying good bye. However, the Space ship part is perhaps the most fun of the game.

I'm so happy Reach is making a comeback. I adore this game so much.

The forklift came in clutch so much I can just imagine flicking right during the Pillar of Autumn cutscene showing you a forklift sitting inside the ship instead of the Master Chief

I've hijacked banshees there before, that's how you get the phantom if you've activated the secret switch

On ONI: Sword Base, instead of taking a forklift up the tower, outside in the courtyard before the shotguns/Hunter area, there is a small truck/trolley thing. One person can sit on that instead of a forklift and it handles much better. As long as you don't get it caught on a chair later on like I did once... I used to mess around with that thing and going up the tower with it a ton as a kid.
Also, on New Alexandria, you can board a Banshee and break its wings off and fly that through the hospital. Much easier. People use Banshees for speedruns on Legendary.

Technically, yes. The original Xbox and Xbox 360 could auto-boot discs when the console was turned on. So, you wouldn't be launching it to play; the console would.

Hahaha I love this, recently did some halo reach gameplay with my old childhood friend and we were doing LASO and decided to protect the forklift from sword base as well, and such "Betty the forklift" was born through tedious, respawning struggle!

You can also just steal a banshee on that level and drive it through the doors. Ive done it.

I would've suggested using the speedrun trick for the hospital part and break off the wings of a banshee like you did with the ghost.
Can't you just jump and move forward that way, as long as you do not take a step when landing?

I might be the reason jet packs arenât too easy is because they could only use jet packs in only a couple situations. But idk entirely.

Thel 'Vadam The proper terminology that he should use is âBeating the game without touching any movement stick/key while on footâ ie. Walking. Jumping and pressing forward is intentionally going against this idea of a series being that you can beat the game without using any intentional movement, and you are also still on foot.-The jet packs that they acquired propelled them up AND forewords automatically, they never touched a directional key in order to achieve their goal. Plus so long as you donât break that cardinal rule then anything goes.
ONI Agent: *âReach is being literally GLASSED, and we got two Spartans fuckin trying not to walk everywhere!â*
A note on new Alexandria, you can break a banshees wings off to get into the door and from there get yourself to the jetpack. this trick is used in speedrunning and is very helpful to get the new achievement in MCC for speedrunning halo reach.
You can actually get the warthog over the barrier in the second level much easier if you shooters corners of two of the barriers and drive between them quickly.

Elite: "My very sanity trying to kill those jumpers and forklift enthusiasts..."

Note for New Alexandria - I believe you could still beat it if you get hospital first, as you can steal a banshee from outside via jumping out of the falcon. It usually doesn't fit but you can damage the wings enough to get it through the door, from there you can fly through that entire section and kill anything using the banshee's weapons.

Something useful to know, on Swordbase you can destroy the corners of the concrete blocks with the Gauss hog and if you drive into it perfectly you can squeeze it past them.
In New Alexandria, you could've also attempted to take a banshee through the door of the hospital to push you.

In Winter Contingency, there's a vehicle for moving crates. It has a flat bed in the front and a short railing making it hard to fall off of, so it would have been pretty useful for this challenge

You can also keep the ghost through the pelican cutscene, itâs very hard though; you basically have to park it before the pelican arrives, then jump in just as the cutscene starts, then get lucky and jump back in quickly after the cutscene before it despawns
