I can’t believe such a nice man died such a painful death despite the fact that he deserved a better more peaceful death.
MunchkinKraftin often times the best most loving people are confronted with the gravest challenges. This is a testament to what they can endure as a final test before they enter into eternal life.
Like Job who was righteous was tested to the extreme.
MR. Rogers is in peace.
MrThehbus or... orrrr... its just really bad stomach pains and then hes back to being in the place we all are from before we were born.. i call it “the non existent realm”
@@stevenhaskell9025 "the none existent realm"? Sounds as silly as believing everything in the universe come from nothing.
Steven Haskell Mr Roger wouldn't want us debating or fighting like this.
Remember to please just be kind & regardless of what u believe (like someone who isn't religious themselves) celebrate the life of someone, not go about with their death.
@@stevenhaskell9025
Whether or not you believe in God or Religion, Mr. Rogers did, and many religious people take comfort in these ideas. You may not believe it. I personally don't either, but religion is important to many people, and you shouldn't disparage it.

GGG514 Meh stupid
GGG514 Meh no he leveled up
@@somkeshav4143 he obviously died he is trying to say he is such a kind person
Once upon a time, a kind man with a heart of gold came into the world. He brought joy and laughter to all who saw him. He taught important lessons to any who would listen. To so many children, we were his neighbors. And then one day, he left. Not because he wanted to leave us, but because it was time to go. We all miss him, but maybe, we'll see him again. And when we do, he'll be so glad to see us. So I close my statement with this; once upon a time, there was a kind man who found his way home.
Man you made me cry you crazy poet
I aspire to be like him. I work with children in special education and I vow to be kind, warm and gentle as ppl should have been to me. Give love and education. ❤️

The dislikers aren’t good neighbors.
But Mr. Rogers would've loved em anyways
They just couldn't handle his passing
@James Deam Those accusations are a dime a dozen, what makes this so special, especially the fact that they are a easy target while real pedophiles aren't in comparison.
James Deam what does this have to with Tom Hanks
Tom is playing Fred in the movie.
Having been born in 2007, I never really knew about Mr rogers neighbourhood until one of my parents spoke about watching him as a kid, so they decided to put an episode on for me. I loved it and ended up watching a lot more episodes, now I really truly feel bad about his death but believe that he was accepted into the gates of heaven and is now gods neighbour

Believe they will be.
I'm a lifelong devout Atheist, but spiritual and religious viewpoints and affiliations aside, Mister Rogers was the better of our species. Not only in the compassion, empathy and kindness he so openly and genuinely displayed, but in how he carried himself with a quiet dignity, humility and wisdom. I grew up in a broken home, and learned many a lesson from Mister Roger's Neighborhood, most importantly, how to love myself and aim to be a better human being. Thanks Fred.
Even heard an Atheist once say "Mr Rogers was the kind of person who went to the kingdom of heaven"
Quote from family guy.
“Peter: What if you say your atheist but Spiritual and religious”
“God: Straight to hell. The all the way to the bottom”

Mr. Rogers deserves the BIGGEST mansion in heaven.
God bless the spirit of Mr. Rogers. Gone physically but his soul & spirit never died.
“Some men just want to watch the world learn.”
Mr. Rogers is the person I would’ve wanted to meet, but I would’ve have had to do that in 2002 or 2003 before he passed, but I was born in 2002, so it would’ve been impossible for me to do so, at least we all have the opportunity to see Mr. Rogers on CZcams
Taimoor Yeah, Mr. Rogers died 5 days after I was born, I would've liked to meet him
I was born three years too late..
You missed the golden years of the show. I got to watch it as it came out as a kid.
Was 10 when he died. As a kid that watched his show every morning at school, it was heartbreaking when he went. I was young and didn't understand my feelings. But I know it felt like a real close neighbor died.
@@kels-chan5660 he died a day after I turned 5
I saw this documentary in the theater. I walked ahead of my parents, and as I turned to find them, I saw the other patrons walking out. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house. I love you, Mr. Rogers ❤️
**bells ringing**
My sister : "Look, teacher says every time a bell rings an Angel gets its wings."
Me: "Yes, well done Fred, well done."
You do know people don’t become angels when they get to Heaven, right? Humans are actually a higher rank whereas angels are only messengers and guardians
I can actually see Mr. Rogers riding Trolley up to Heaven.
All I see is a man who wanted everyone to be loved even after he left. Is heart was big and his character was strong.
Mr. Rogers was a neighbor, not the neighbor we deserved, but the neighbor we needed. Nothing less than a kind, caring, compassionate, intelligent, loving, and open-minded human being.
I saw this in my recommendations
I was completely clean about this movie till I saw the title
I think Mr. Rogers is one of the only people in the acting business who have never had any dirty laundry. Even now, nearly 20 years after his death, people respect him as much if not more so than when he was alive. Most documentaries leave you feeling disappointed in the person it was about in some way because their real life didn't live up to expectations.
Mr. Rogers lived his life as he showed himself on television. In other words, he walked the walk and talked the talk. God bless this wonderful man.
I was born a few years after he died and if I grew up with this show I would’ve loved it so much R.I.P.
Mr. Rogers is definitely going to heaven I know those who are within god will see him again
God is dead.
FactionsTazer yeah I’m not religious but saying “god is dead” on a post like this just isn’t right. It doesn’t matter if there is a god or heaven or not. Wherever the good ones go, Mr. Rogers is there, be it Heaven or just nowhere.
@@cringecastfull7278 Shut up. You don't agree with a religion than leave it alone.
Mr. Rogers didn't die he just went home like any good neighbor.
When my time comes, I will be so excited to meet Mr. Rogers
May he Rest In Peace. I’ll say, I feel we need him more than ever with our current situations, if you know what I mean. He was a good man, and a great neighbor. He just needed to be in a new neighborhood.
Fred you are an amazing human being. Thank you for all the love and joy you brought to this world! I hope that one day I will be your neighbor.
R.I.P Fred Rogers
People are so focused on why he died they aren't focused on HOW he died. He died in peace, he was accomplished, he was saved, and he left his mark. He knew he did his job and taught the world to love. He died happy and in mental comfort and in a way physical comfort, I truly believe that. Yes cancer hurts but I'm sure he took the best pain drugs available and when you go comatose you're being free from the pain by a deep sleep and machines and medicines that comfort the pain. I believe in your close and last fleeting moments as well, through the spirit your pain is quelled through divinity. God bless Fred Rogers, and may his soul live forever in harmony, humbleness, praise, and eternal paradise.
(Dear atheists, I know will comment something nasty about God not existing, ideally in a mean and negative manner. I love you. You don't have to believe what I believe, and in that love is trust and I trust that you'll love me as well) Love you, neighbors.
CasperTheDopestGhostInTown Why do you assume atheists will be so hostile? We don’t care that you believe in God

Mr Rogers isn’t dead. He just moved to a better neighborhood.
Mr Rogers would never move to a better neighborhood. Mr Rogers would stay there and try to save everyone.
My memories will always be happy ones. I watched, learned and enjoyed. I couldn't have asked for more. RIP
Ilyere Grei St James excellent comment
This show was one of my favorites as a kid.
He was a saint. He truly left the world much better than it was. He is in all of us. Just nurture that in ourselves and each other.
I believe in multiple gods and goddesses, but wherever he went when he died, whatever happened to him, I hope it was something really good.
This man seems like the very definition of genuine. He didn’t just talk about doing good or being good, he did many good things and he seemed like such a good person. He really practiced what he preached, and he only preached gentle lessons. He only tried to help people of all ages through the highs and lows of life. He never pretended that life isn’t hard at times, he only proposed helpful ways to live through it all.

I doubt that Fred would have liked to have been seen as a messiah, or a saint. He would've wanted people to see him as a typical, flawed, human being; like the rest of us.
However, that doesn't mean that he would hate you for seeing him as the latter, because that's how great a man he was.

Man spends entire life advocating for children, gets rewarded with a painful death. Let that sink in, then tell me karma exists with a straight face. I double dog dare you.
I don't believe in Karma, but the purpose of Karma (for people who believe in it) is to reward or punish you in the next life, not this life. So if Karma existed, Mr Rogers would have an amazing life next time around.

I'm surprised that he would even question whether he would be judged as a sheep or a goat.
I am 54 years old and Mister Rogers was the greatest man to walk this earth in my lifetime.
I agree...a lamb
He had a good life because he wasn’t angry at anyone
Actually that's not true. He was able to cope with anger probably better than most people however he still got angry especially when it dealt with anything that would hurt a child.

I'm not remotely religious and yet this mans version of Christianity leaves me in awe, I can't possibly say a single negative thing. God is love, is what many theologians like to say, well Fred Rodgers had love in his heart to spare and made the world a better place and I weep for his loss and for his many accomplishments.
