I've been following yall since I was recomended survival after a Make Them Suffer song. My favorite bands are all aussies. You guys, MTS, Parkway Drive, and A Night In Texas are my favorites!
How is no one talking about that chorus? 3 band members pitching in for the absence of Kyle is both sad and beautiful. Coolest chorus I've heard so far this year.
Seriously, that chorus has been stuck in my head all week. Gonna miss Kyle's vocals in the band, but this is a pretty bitchin' way to kick off the new iteration of the band.

Really think so??! That shocks me because I always thought the last record and prior had such a UNIQUE super thumpy production. This feels a bit thinner to me and not as gut punching.
I'd say the production for every album has been good. Its a bit of a shame not many liked their last album

I’ve been trying to get into this band for years, but the clean vocals just never worked for me (I dislike cleans in 90% of bands), so now I can finally get into them. Honestly love this. Cleans just take away from the intensity for me, they completely break the immersion.

One of the biggest mysteries out of Australia is how the hell is this band not bigger
Fun fact, i was 15 in 2012 when i found this band at 2am, my mate was asleep and i was on the couch finding new bands on youtube using his ps3 (such simple times) and i discovered Departure.
I woke my mate the f up in excitement and we both played the entire divination album afterwards and we both could not get enough, i then seen them that same year in their home town, Byron Bay, a little show called Halloween Hardcore where they dressed up as the Anchorman crew.
This band has been a huge part of my life since, and so has Kyle.
I wish the best to Kyle and his future endeavours, yet im so glad to see you guys continue how damn good In Hearts Wake has become over the years, its been nothing less than an incredible journey.

The production sound is so good and crispy. Sounds way better than their previous albums. I will miss those beautiful clean vocals though.
Did anyone else notice how the artwork for the album has an extremely similar band name font/logo to Divination? It even has a similar sounding name like it's a sequel to Divination, "Incarnation". I'm beyond hyped for this record now, this is such a great lead single
Checkout the tracklisting too! Same bracketed titles as Divination & if you look on the record pre-orders the track listing goes from 12-22, when Divination ended at 11 👀 definitely a continuation
And the sound of this single reminds of that album but with the integration of a new sound. Totally love this concept

Jake Taylor also added the following about the album:
“‘Incarnation’ is the shadow counterpart and sequel to the band’s debut album ‘Divination,’ with each song inspired by the meaning and ideals of a particular Major Arcana Tarot card. There are 22 Major Arcana Tarot cards in every deck and 11 tracks on each record, bringing the vision to completion 12 years later.
But much like a coin with two sides, cards flipped upside down deliver the reversed meaning. Polarized in every way, ‘Incarnation’ explores the dark underbelly to mirror and stand diametrically opposite to ‘Divination.’”
