He's new to the big scene. As far as I know he's been making music for a little while, then moved to London to study music and now post degree he went back to Lithuania and made this banger. I like the song a lot and I know it's been top of the music charts in Lithuania ever since it came out. Hopefully a top 5 at ESC.

Lithuanian (the language) is very nice on the ears and I'm glad they're starting to send more songs in it more and more. But this is definitely a song that will have more meat on the bones once we get to Malmo and there's more money put into it.

His real name is Silvestras Beltė, what he basically did is make his name easier to pronounce for non-Lithuanian speakers.

**here are the lyrics in english!**
    [Verse 1]
The day has passed and another one
It's like the time has stopped here
I'm going here, I'm going there
And when the sun goes down and it's all over again
    [Pre-Chorus]
    Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow
I promise to love you tomorrow
In the good, in the good, in the good
You'll find me in the good night
    [Chorus]
    Am I still alive?
    Do you still recognize me?
    The sun doesn't rise
Tell me, will you stay close?
    [Post-Chorus]
Wait a bit, wait a bit
One more minute, wait a bit
Wait a bit, wait a bit
    One more minute, hold on
    [Verse 2]
The night has passеd, another night
Like always, I'm repеating it again
    [Pre-Chorus]
    Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow
I promise to love you tomorrow
    [Chorus]
    Am I still alive?
    Do you still recognize me?
    The sun doesn't rise
Tell me, will you stay close?
    [Post-Chorus]
Wait a bit, wait a bit
One more minute, wait a bit
Wait a bit, wait a bit
    One more minute, hold on
    [Bridge]
We're standing in the silence of a radio playing
I no longer want to dance, I no longer want to dance
We're standing in the silence of a radio playing
I no longer want to dance, but I need to dance
    [Instrumental Break]
    [Chorus]
    Am I still alive?
    Do you still recognize me?
    Sun doesn't rise
Tell me, will you stay close?
    [Post-Chorus]
Wait a bit, wait a bit
One more minute, wait a bit
Wait a bit, wait a bit
    One more minute, hold on
The song is about his life being repetitive but he wants it to change so he keeps saying that he'll love you tommorow as if he'll feel better the next day but it just keeps repeating, luktelk means wait a little bit its as if hes asking for time. The part where he says were standing in silence of a radio playing that basically means hes like lets say, sitting in a car listening to the radio, everyone around him is dancing but he doesnt want to dance although he has to because if he sits in that car and doesnt dance, the radio will end one day. Now lets think of that differently, he doesnt want to fight life anymore and everyone around him is fighting it, hes tired to live but he has to fight for the sake of his loved ones, because if he doesnt one day he'll die without expierence in anything(radio will shut off)

He is a newly discovered talent (sort of - years ago I think he participated in Lithuanian version of 'voice'). Apart from that once he entered stage this song in no. 1 for a month in Lithuanian spotify and radio charts. Super exited, super proud, best of luck in Eurovision and for this bloke the sky is the limit having studio perfect voice, charisma and strong production team. perfect combo 💛💚❤‍🔥 lets rave Europe ✨

💛💚❤ his tone sounds really clean, calm or eventually i must say confident . Lyrics is little oposite and melancholic towards the beat. Relationship ,love lyrics, A girl leaves its like a dance is over and hes like I dont want to dance anymore, But hold on I need to dance and the beat drops if you know what I mean. All the aesthetics is very temporary also gives a glimse on late 90s early 20s type of a dancing, shufle. Not a invetion of smth new but definately stands out. For many peeps taht type of music isnt their cup of tee, but ,ore you listen .. Silvrster well done

I am from Lithuania and I like this song very much. To be honest, I haven't heard about Silvester before Eurovision, but now the more I listen the more I like the song. I am 38, so maybe younger people knew him, I don't know, but I'm really happy that this is our Eurovision entry this year. In my opinion, we had another good song which was more like a Rock ballad, and took second place.

    Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow
I promise I’ll start loving you tomorrow
Sleep tight, sleep tight, sleep tight
You will find me in the night
    Am I still alive?
Do you still know who I am?
    The sun isn’t coming up

    Wait, wait

Not my favourite one, a bit monotonic and repetitive, his vocals were not that strong in this song. Also it has staging and movement elements from the Roop song "On Fire" from 2020, intro from this song czcams.com/video/sTBX_gKe0Ro/video.html (in both songs the instrumental intro before the singing starts is identical) and then from 0:21 this song reminds too much the song of Hooverphonic "Amalfi"from 0:41 czcams.com/video/1fDdcrs9X10/video.html . Nevertheless, it's ok for Eurovision to make people move and have a party vibe :)

Translated for you to Lithuanian words if you need, the English translation is from google translate and it's really really bad, but i wrote this one in other videos, ill post i here also, if you want super english translation please let me know, but google translated it very bad, Lithuanian language is one of the most hardest in all over the world i think its in top 3 hardest languages. So here it goes. Why im saying that google translation is bad? Because it is. In English a lot of words come as two words and it even cannot describe what is meant to be in Lithuanian, because in Lithuanian for example you have 1 word to describe 2 or 3 words in English. Im from Lithuania i think this is the best one (song) so far over all the Eurovision years, maybe because i love electronic music, and also it was made with a colaboration with our best pop singer (who invested her time in music i believe, maybe even words) she's got most of M.A.M.A. awards which is like Lithuanian kind of best singers in Lithuania awards like Grammy, she had like 12 awards for all her time and ivestment for her work because she's really deserved it. She's Jessica Shy if you want to listen to her. Also a lot of people don't understand word of Luktelk - it have a lot of meanings in english and only 1 in Lithuania - it's kind of - "wait for some time but that time is not long" like just wait a bit kind of :) you can use it like wait for me im getting back soon after like to i dont know hard to describe, like wait for me a bit i have to answer a call in a restaurant. Or it could also be used for more time than like 10 minutes, like just wait for me for a bit i will get back to you VERY soon, like i wish to get back 100% but you will need to wait for a bit and that bit could only be described in Lithuanian, there is no word or words in English for it. But it's kind of romantic word. Like i don't know i thought English have a lot of words to describe something but it's not even 10% of what we Lithuanians have in our language. So for us to learn English is really really that easy because the language is sorry for my words but "poor" in terms of what can you say, you have to "make up" words in it, and in Lithuania every word have meaning, like you only need 1 word for like 3 English words. I don't know if it sound logical to you but i describet it as best as i can. Have a good day!
Also for english speaker the letter J doesnt pronounce like "gee" or "jee" or "ghiee" just use a letter - i with it because those words with i instead of j will sound the same but as i wrote in Lithuanian there is rules of language and it's used for words that are shortened. Like "Luktelk" full word should be "Lukterek" and "Laboj" should be lengthened to "Laboje" thats why i wrote like this but the end part with letter J sounds like letter i and if you use i instead of J it will sound better
    [Verse 1]
The day has passed and another one (viena diena ir vel kita)
It's like the time has stopped here (tarytum cia data sustojo)
I'm going here, I'm going there (einu tai ten, einu tai sen)
And when the sun goes down and it's all over again(ir kai sutems ir vel is naujo)
    [Pre-Chorus]
Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow (rytoj rytoj rytoj)
I promise to love you tomorrow (pazadu mylest tave rytoj)
In the good, in the good, in the good (laboj laboj laboj)
You'll find me in the good night (surasi tu mane nakty laboj)
    [Chorus]
Am I still alive? (Ar as vis dar gyvas? Boom boom)
Do you still recognize me? (Ar tebe pazysti mane?)
The sun doesn't rise up (Saule nepakyla)
Tell me, will you stay close? (Pasakyk ar dar liksi salia)
    [Post-Chorus]
Wait a bit, wait a bit (luktekl luktelk)
One more minute, wait a bit (dar viena minute - luktelk)
Wait a bit, wait a bit (luktelk luktelk)
One more minute, hold on (dar viena minute luktelk)
    [Verse 2]
The night has passеd, another night (naktis viena, naktis kita)
Like always, I'm repеating it again (kaip visada as vel is naujo)
Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow (rytoj rytoj rytoj)
I promise to love you tomorrow (pazadu mylet tave rytoj)
    [Chorus]
Am I still alive? (ar as vis dar gyvas "boom boom")
Do you still recognize me? (ar tebe pazysti mane)
The sun doesn't rise up (saule nepakyla)
Tell me, will you stay close? (pasakyk ar liksi salia)
    [Post-Chorus]
Wait a bit, wait a bit (luktekl luktelk)
One more minute, wait a bit (dar viena minute - luktelk)
Wait a bit, wait a bit (luktelk luktelk)
One more minute, hold on (dar viena minute luktelk)
    [Bridge]
We're standing in the silence of a radio playing (stovime tyloje, grojancio radijo)
I no longer want to dance, I no longer want to dance (nebenoriu sokt, nebenoriu sokt)
We're standing in the silence of a radio playing (stovime tyloje, grojancio radijo)
I no longer want to dance, but I need to dance (nebenoriu sokt, bet man reikia sokt!!!)
    [Instrumental Break]
    [Chorus]
Am I still alive? (ar as vis dar gyvas "boom boom")
Do you still recognize me? (ar tebe pazysti mane)
The sun doesn't rise up (saule nepakyla)
Tell me, will you stay close? (pasakyk ar liksi salia)
    [Post-Chorus]
Wait a bit, wait a bit (luktekl luktelk)
One more minute, wait a bit (dar viena minute - luktelk)
Wait a bit, wait a bit (luktelk luktelk)
One more minute, hold on (dar viena minute luktelk)
The best or worst part is this:
To be honest he's not even popular, in Lithuania this is a first song of him that we ever heard, because of that he's gay man he gone to London for like 7 years, singing from very very young age, like when he was 4 years old he started music school, and yes he's young but there was too much Homophobic pressure in Lithuania at that time, and even now not that much but there still is. It's hard to describe for us not homophobics how much we love that we voted for him that much that he's in Eurovision now - it's a big win for our society who hates LGBT. It's a big progress here in Lithuania looking at LGBT situation and im happy about it. We have post-soviet era where older people like even in their 50's cannot stand LGBTQ and same in our parlament, too much old shit fat homophobic politicians and too much old generation who grew up in ruzzian era when we were in Soviet regime occupied, and when young party came and tried to do reforms they didn't got enough votes for it even like for small things like same sex marrage. Even Latvia and Estonia have these laws, but in our constitution we have two very different terms about it - one is against because only man and woman can have marriage and the other one is like - yes you could do that because we are all free and can do whatever we want. So we need to change laws first and i mean constitution laws which takes a lot of time and smart people in the parlament, which we don't have still. Too much homophobes with chill places and good payroll. Thats why they sit there. Our young generation are very liberal and want same sex marrage to be legalised like the first step at least, but our parlament grew up in Soviet era so when they leave we will have everything liberated and we will have LGBT rights installed. But for now we still have i hope not more than 5 years ahead for this change.
