- Hare coursing, where dogs are used to catch and chase hares, is banned.
But the BBC's uncovered new evidence the sport is still taking place.
And that it's on the increase. A number of farmers claim they've been threatened by gangs of coursers. Guy Lynn reports

This is what it looks like. First the ban of firearms, then hunting, then slingshots, and then finally one day its illegal for your dog to chase rabbits. God bless America.

Makes me laugh. They allow birds of prey to hunt hares, which start to eat the hare alive. But not allow a dog to kill them quicker.

They aren't killing for the pot, they're killing for the sake of it. The move towards the saluki greyhound showed that coursing wasn't the aim of the game, killing was.
