My father worked in an abattoirs where Mcdonalds placed orders. The beef, had to be 90CL (chemical lean) but came from older cattle, thus a bit cheaper. I have been to a factory when I was a network technician where they made the patties. The beef is ground, formed, screened in a metal detector, then frozen. What they do with it after that is quite well documented but I won't go into that here.

A major portion of McDs beef comes from older dairy cows, whose meat doesn't fall apart so easily. This is blended with the meat from cows raised for beef. This make sure the beef is strong enough to not break apart when on the grill at your local McD.

there are studies on this btw
the glove bias usually arises because most people dont wash their hands like they should and they know that, but that doesnt mean every mcdonalds cook is picking their ass between every burger they make; and even if they were, gloves wouldnt make a difference.

Ill take exception with the bun making process where he says "sugar is added" the actuall statement should be " and lots an lots an lots of SUGAR is added" as i diabetic my body tells me these fast food buns are LOADED with sugars and carbs worse than white bread. By comparison a good italian bread with no sugar barely raises my blood sugar however fast food buns send my blood sugarthru the roof. Lastly if youve ever wondered what the mcdonalds real secrets are, fries were fried in TALLOW now the use a adative to simulate the Tallow flavor, their pickles are super sour, and the cheese they use is different than normal yellow american its a sharp yellow american thats a lil softer to melt easier...
