  • How to EQ Bass - This video looks at How to EQ Bass. The Bass Guitar can be a really important aspect of your mix. If it sounds great, it can elevate the track. If not, it can end up ruining it. And so it is very important that we get the sound of the bass guitar right, which is highly reliant on the EQ we apply to it.
    In this video, we look at 5 problem frequency ranges/characteristics. These are Sub Bass, Body, Muddiness, Punchiness and Clarity. This video is aimed at beginner to intermediate engineers, producers and artists.

    Useful and interesting, for sure! It seems that pretty much any recorded instrument can benefit from some appropriate EQ adjustment, as with vocals but of course with different frequencies.

    Maybe you should title this how I eq instead of how to eq. What works for your pop music may not work for metal or rap.
