This is a good concert, not the best version of the project, but a good show.

" Eric Woolfson was the main songwriter and lyricist for the APP writing 95% of the music and 100% of the lyrics. He also sang lead vocal on many of the APP’s greatest hits including ‘Eye in the Sky’, ‘Time’ and ‘Don’t Answer Me’. He played keyboards on practically every APP track recorded. He was also the manager of the APP and handled all the business side. It was his decision to call it ‘The Alan Parsons Project’ - a choice he often described as both the best and worst in his career. The best because he got to enjoy the success of his work without any of the fame. The worst in that generally no one outside the music industry had a clue who he was! "
Ironically, Eric did not start getting featured as a lead singer until ‘Eye in the Sky’, though he did voice MOST of the demo tracks. Eric had an INCREDIBLE voice. His death hit me particularly hard because my own voice is similar to his both in terms of timbre and range. I wish I could play piano, but alas, I am a drummer/percussionist…So much wonderful music that never be written!
@@gadgetcoder Eric died way to young. He was THE genius of the band, what an incredible allround talent he was. And yes his voice was beautiful and had that App signature sound.
He did not get the recognition for what he achieved in his live. He wrote practically all the music and lyrics !! for 10 beautiful albums.
Parsons got all the attention, yet his role was just producing. what an injustice.
