When Alexis DeJoria stepped away from driving a fuel Funny Car at the end of the 2018 season, he absence left a void in the sport. She was and still is the quintessential adrenalin rush connoisseur, and for DeJoria only one thing could fill the need for speed.
DeJoria's team is a throwback to the days of her Patron Toyota Funny Car with tuners Del Worsham and Nicky Boninfante. She's carrying backing from the family's brands ROKit cellphones and ABK beer. She proved Sunday in Pomona, she hasn't missed a beat in reaching the semi finals at the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals.

Hello I am interviewing drivers who would like to go back to fuel altered cars found in Abandon garages?
I have Ron Capps autograph from the New England Nationals, Alexis was nowhere to be found 90% of the time. I didn't even go last year despite free general admission. Not wasting vacation time to go for eliminations as I work 3rd shift after the last time I went. Left after first rnd as I didn't even get to see any of it looking for a place to sit, fell asleep in my chair at home, didn't even see who won. Didn't care either.
