Although i differ from your view on the average life expectancy number ( mathematical average depends on the is dependent on various factors, not just genetics but i appreciate the topic that you touched up at this early stage of your days in Germany. I can relate your words after 18 yrs ( and still counting) here in Deutschland.

Life expectancy doesn't depend on genetics. It depends on lifestyle. So if you're health conscious and lead a good happy life then ig life expectancy will increase.
As you said in previous video's, in Germany work life balance is very good as compared to toxic work culture in India. So i hope , considering all these factors Indians living in Germany from atleast 25 age will lead a long life.

  • @VigneshKrishnamoorthy-ym5xv

No. Population of india and poverty determines average life expectancy. That means u have people living a full life healthy 80 to 90. And u have poor unhygienic living that die early. Therefore average is what u see. Secondly, when you immigrate to Germany, ur lifestyle improves... work life balance, family status, social benefits, medical insurance etc... so u can no longer compare expectancy of somebody living and dying in india with you.

Very thoughtful and clear presentation of perspectives. Thanks for that.
In my opinion - for Indians retirement life in Germany will not be fun. The weather is cold most of the year and in old age that would be an additional burden. The spiritual life which most Indians pursue after retirement is totally missing here being a Christian country. For Christians it may be different but I do not have much knowledge on that. There are a handful of temples so the only option is to visit India. In old age doing that could be really challenging. If you have a good network of friends with similar interests and age then it could be better but otherwise life could become very lonely. There are incidents that an old lady was found dead after 4 days by the cleaning lady during her weekly visit!!!
It is truly every man for himself. After 18/20 children are legally considered as independent and parents have no say in what they do. They rarely live beyond that age with parents. The country sees every citizen as a per capita GDP contributor, everyone is supposed to work, contribute to social security & Tax. Like in India you cant just say I want to retire now and not contribute to tax or social security.
Here locals are mostly healthy till 70s. Right from young age they are used to lots of physical activities so their body is used to the cold and physical activities. They travel, hike, swim pursue their hobbies. My neighbor lady is 82 she can climb a ladder and pluck the apples from her tree. For us I am not so sure, there may be exceptions I know a few who have settled here and are following the German life style.
Cost of living is increasing due to unstable geopolitical scenario. There is wide spread fear that people who will retire in 10 years will not get pension at the current levels. Lots of immigration from war torn countries are sucking money via social benefits putting pressure on the pension corpus.
The best is to plan service for 20-25 years, earn, save & return to India. Better to have close touch with India via frequent travels. I traveled once after 4 years to visit family and it was really difficult to adjust in India. So repatriation also could be challenging.
Kids can make their own choice which will obviously be to stay in Germany but that's fine as they grew up here and India will not suit them at all.
Germany is still a new country for Indian diaspora as not many moved here long back...it would be a maximum of 20 years. In the US you have Indians running for presidency, becoming CEOs of MNCs etc., in Germany its not like that. Maybe it might change after a few generations.
Sorry if I painted a scary picture but retirement life is something that needs careful planning .

Well it differs from person to person, some extroverted people may not like German restrictions like no noise Sunday, some people who like chilling out won't like the idea of language learning, some people who are highly ambitious would hate the high tax rates. If you are different from the above mentioned category then Germany would be pretty good, I mean no place is picture perfect. It is applicable to other countries like UK and USA where the cost of living is insanely higher than Germany apart from the benefit of freedom and English language (which is quite tempting for many).

Life expectancy is calculation of multiple factors.
    1.Quality of life
    2.Quality of food
    3.Quality of health care
    4.fitness habits
If u r an Indian who lives in Germany ur life expectancy will increase because of the quality of life and less stressed work life. There is not much connection between the races in this matter.
Also India's life expectancy is calculated out of 140 crore population whereas Germany's sample is only 8 crore population. So comparing India with Germany in this case is a irrelevant comparison. If you want to compare compare the data of tamilnadu and Germany. Both these regions has same number of population. So you will get a better idea.
Now I checked in the internet life expectancy of TN is 74. This shows quality of life in tamilnadu is better than rest of the India. Kerala tops in this list with 76 years.
Technically having all these high quality of life Germans living only 78 years which is only 4 years extra than Tamilians.
