- My arrangement of "Sweet Maria." It was written by Bert Kaempfert, Herbert Rehbein, and Milt Gabler. ( Thanks to MusicBlinded51 for the information on the song writers...Thanks William!). I added the intro, and another verse, and manipulated a few notes on the bridge. I hope that you enjoy my version of this beautiful melody!!!

Alain - My father - Dwayne - Passed away three weeks ago.. He was the man behind the music here. What a wonderful tribute this song was at his funeral.. He will be missed for all time.. His music will be on here for as long as visitor's like yourself will stop by and listen to his beautiful music.. Beautuful landscape pictures and beautiful song (I did not know) .Your play and arrangement (women vocal sound) is excellent Dwayne! The basic moode of this tune is a little sorrowful, but the rhythm and wide range (+transposition) of of the melody makes brighter.

Beautifully done, Dwayne. And those incredible visuals...wish I'd had those for my video entry, "The Green Hills of Earth" (audacious plug aside). I wonder who Maria was; reminds one of cinema's "The Brothers Karamazov" and "The Hanging Tree". (You being a probable fan of trivia as mysekf would know who I'm referring to.
