I hear more Popper in this cadenza than I do Saint Saens. So, I'm not too crazy about it. But, your playing is absolutely brilliant!

Im going to be honest its funny but for popper this is light. Try Elfentanz. I know it is diffrent and that you comment still holds weight but given the context I think it fits.

Elfentanz is 💀 but anyone who plays *anything* by popper (concertos, études, cadenzas, etc) have my respect, perhaps because nowadays I'm in the process to relearn the cello technique for almost 2yrs now (for context: I started learning cello in 2019 at NGO but this organization "doesn't create professionals" so I didn't learned any technique at all... I stayed there until 2022 when I got and approved in a new orchestra that has a pedagogical approach but I still have my salary... and in this orchestra that I'm still nowadays my teacher says that I never learned how to play the cello) and today I realize how much deep the cello is. Luckily, my teacher is so supportive and today I have high hopes that I will pick popper someday now that I'm learning the correct technique
