मैं जब 5 th में था आशिकी 2 जब रिलीज हुई थी उसके हर एक गाना Hit होगया था मैंने तब 4 GB की मेमोरी कार्ड लिया था और एक Ipod mini .... तुम ही हो गाना हर रोज गुनगुना ता था ...तब मुझे अरिजीत सिंघ कौन है पता चला था ....बारिश का मौसम था 🌧️अरिजीत के गाने ...मुझे बादमें पता चला की फिर मोहब्बत में भी अरिजीत है....फिर 2014 में मैंने और गाने भरवाए मेमोरी में The Expose के गाने ..Ek villain के..बादमें और भी भरवाता गया...

Cant believe arijit has sung so beautifully. This song itself is a masterpiece. At 11:51, his raw vocals without any processing, wow. Hats off man for his immense talent, dedication towards music. You can clearly hear his chest voice with utmost feel and emotion to the song. Arguably, Tum Hi Ho is the song which made him THE ARIJIT SINGH today.
And kudos to the composer mithoon for believing in Arijit and giving the listeners such a marvellous composition. I was in grade 8 when the song released and I still get the same feeling when I listen to his song and even whole album of Aashiqui 2 indeed. Arijit ruled our heart from tum hi ho to eternity.
He is the King of sad songs.
Isse bahut acha Kumar Sanu used to be in his prime and for Aashiqui original he was on his own level. Anyways with the help of takes retakes technical help and advancements a song becomes much easier comparing with the old school live orchestra recording where so much effort and hard work was involved. Tum Hi Ho would have been the same even in the voices of KK or Shaan or Mohit Chauhan... But Since Arijit was almost unheard and a bit fresh so it was caught instantly. It's a song that itself is something so melodious that whoever would have sung it would have been liked by all.
bhai what about KK man , his live is way better .. Indeed love Arijit but .. This was made for arijit but KK would have been give it to next level with his soothing butter crystal clear voice ( My opinion

@@faizansaggi I respect your opinion but on a personal note, I dont agree. Yeah, I am a big fan of KK but no body would have done justice to the song TUM HI HO. Its like, no one could sing Zara si dil me de jaga tu apart from KK, likewise no one could do justice to TUM HI HO like Arijit did.
Yeah, in the past, there werent much technological aspects helping the singers but time’s changed but that doesnt mean ARIJIT couldnt do it. He has sustained himself in the bollywood from past 10-12 years with almost every songs being hit. He is once in a generation singer. He deserved all the success and credit for his hardwork and dedication towards music.
B4 #TumHiHo, arijit already quite a no. of Bollywood songs (mostly under Pritam's direction,,, 1 example: Raabta). But Arijit was not #TheArijit yet then.
It was this #Mithoon's magical composition which truly clicked & brought out d Real Magic of Arijit's voice, & rest is history 👌👏.
Mithoon too became Quite renowned as a Music Director (which he is still today) in Bollywood through such magical compositions of Aashqui2 album.
So, Hatss off & Gratitude to #Mithoon 🙏 & #Arijit 🙏 for starting a new trend of magical & soulful musical journeys for d music lovers.

The most underrated composer of bollywood.Todays composer cant even think to create a theme like tum hi ho.All they can do is remix , recreate etc etc . My only request from Mithoon sir is to make more classical music like ankhen teri kitni haseen,madno,kinna sona from bhag Johny... bcoz that is his trademark.Nowadays he rarely make such songs maybe bcoz the movie director doesn't want those type of sufi songs
