I think it’s so bizzare that new kpop fans today will never understand the grasp that wonder girls had on the public. Tell Me is still considered a kpop classic, and it was everywhere when it came out and you even have people like Blackpink and NewJeans covering it today. Not to mention So Hot, Nobody, Irony were all massive, wonder girls were THEE it group from 2008-2011
Go ask Koreans! They'll say Tel-So-No is the 3 consecutive hits by kpop idols that cannot be surpassed till today!
aaaah the legendary Wonder Girls!!! Tell Me is the one that started all the point choreography in Kpop. It was a simple dance, everybody of all ages was doing it and the song took off. Their most famous song is Nobody, which was the single after So Hot. You said Hyuna and Sunmi's names during Irony--both become major solo artists. Hyuna started in this group, left, and redebuted with 4minute under Cube. She is most jnown for Bubble Pop and Red. Yubin replaced Hyuna as tge rapper and made quite a splash with her husky rap in Tell Me. Sunmi hit it big with her solo debut 24 Hours but her biggest solo song was Gashina. This is really Kpop history in the making.

Nobody is the first kpop song that enter billboard hot100 & also the first Korean song that became viral & so popular all over Asia! I can tell from where I'm from ( Malaysia ).. the song was everywhere in my country! I think all Malaysian know the song! 😅
But if you wanna talk about their most popular song in Korea it's gotta be Tell Me, So Hot & Nobody..! Like those 3, every Korean know those songs!
"Tell me" is iconic to this day, it is like the book song and choreography for all the teenagers who want to be idols, even Girls Generation has their cover of this song, including AOA, Twice, Gfriend, Oh my Girl BP, NJ and anyone else who comes to mind, in the song "Irony" HYuna appears, whom you later saw in the reaction you made to 4minute, in the next two she was replaced by Yubin

Those 3 songs have been covered countless times in kpop, Wonder Girls were huge back then.
Some suggestions:
There's a "Tell Me Original Dance" clip of JYP showing us some swag, 23 seconds that will change your life.
"I Feel You" and "Why So Lonely" were their last releases, for those they became a band, playing instruments and all.
Their most successful song is "Nobody" (first kpop song to enter billboard 100), and their least successful is "Like This" (bad release time, it's amazingly catchy!!).

Wonder girls broke so many records with these songs and still hold some, kinda surprising that you didn’t know these before, the funny thing about the whole kid actress situation that sohee was actually a kid actress who acted before debuting and she was planning to be an actress but wonder girls happened and had to debut as an idol (she was literally a child in these music videos 14~15y) , now she is back into her acting career you may saw her already in train to busan as the girlfriend of the baseball player(university students)
It will be great if you do part2,3 cause they definitely have a lot of great songs
Ikr! If jyp had managed these girls better like don't go to the US too early & give Sohee some dramas, she'd no doubt become one of the most success Korean actress ever..

You should check out their final 2 songs, when they returned with a band concept. They practiced with instruments for a year or so, and it's a huge departure from their previous stuff.

Wonder Girls was the only group to compete against SNSD/Girls Generation for the longest time, and you KNOW how big they are.
Like before snsd took off with gee, Wonder Girls only competitons were boy groups like big bang, tvxq etc.. like no girl group stood a chance to compete with Wonder Girls!

Ahh I still remember learning tell me chores in my room and imagining I was a member too , it's funny when I watch new kpop fan doing a throwback and I'm here like damn my childhood and teen years are a throwback now I'm getting old

As a long time wonderful thank you for making this reaction video! Funny enough, WG didn't hit big with Irony but did with Tell Me, Followed by So Hot and Nobody, their biggest hits. In Irony, it's Hyuna, Sohee, Sunmi, Sunye and Sunye and by the time Tell Me came around, Yubin replaced Hyuna. They released more songs until their comeback with 2 Different Tears featuring new member Lim as Sunmi left the group. There was another hiatus until the release of I Feel You which saw a line up of Sunmi (returning), Yubin, Lim and Yeeun. It was bittersweet because Sunmi had made her solo debut by the time they came back as four (and a band!) and she blew up but JYPE always said she could comeback and she did but by that time Sunye and Sohee had left the group. I hope you do a reaction again and even though they have fun MV. I'd request that you react to one of their three albums, The Wonder Years (2007), Wonder World (2011) or Reboot (2015). WG has always been a retro leaning girl group and their music reflects that. I think Wonder Girls is a great and underrated album. Many miss out on it. Wonder World is a good one if you want to hear how their sound developed after they left to work in America in 2009 and it was their first full album since returning to the states. This is where the members started to get involved with working on their music, though Yeeun (Ha:tfelt) had did it before. Lastly, if you like/love 80's music, than that is the album to check out. They came back as a band and also worked on this album. Either way, thank you to the reaction to WG. They shaped kpop a lot in their short run.

It's so weird looking back that Irony is their debut song when Sunmi, Sohee, and Hyuna were all just 14 years old when the song came out. It's a bop of a song, but I still side-eye JYP for it.
