Rest well Rick. Thanks for everything.
"Downstroke Warlords",
classic!
Seriously. The Wipers may have invented the concept, but I will always associate the term with the Hot Snakes.
amazing how the best band in the world of all time ( talent ) can be so unkown
Everything they do is incredible.
What a hell of a song it is, too. Just epic. My favorite DLJ song.
Very nice! Seeing that short bit of rocket really makes me miss seeing them (saw them 13 times in 2001).
0:00 / 0:40 drive like jehu - new intro.
0:21 drive like jehu - here come the rome plows.
1:18 hot snakes - 10th planet.
1:46 hot snakes - unlisted.
2:42 drive like jehu - luau.
3:27 rocket from the crypt - born in ‘69.
4:14 rocket from the crypt - march of dimes.
4:47 drive like jehu - super unison.

Thanks for posing this! Amazing.
Downstroke warlords holy shit
thx
good explanation of why hot snakes are better than drive like jehu!
Dude, that's so awesome! Froberg.
🙌🙌🙌🙏🙏🙏🤟🤟🤟🔥🔥🔥🤙🤙🤙
The interview segments look like they may have been shot outside the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, NC. Just saying.
@ausfoolia1111 Pitckfork?
May have been filmed at Michigan Fest, too?
Half the band doesnt makes music anymore. It's very unlikely...:(
johnnyscifi Trombino has had his hands full producing other bands and Mike is a full time biologist so, yeah, there is truth to that.
"let's be honest, people who come to see Rocket From the Crypt are white people... Unfortunately" LOL
I lolled at that too, then scrolled through the comments to see if anyone else did hehe
ANOTHER DRIVE LIKE JEHU ALBUM PLEASE
rest in power rick froberg, what a titan
Had to pause and check in disbelief when I read this. Rest easy Rick Froberg, absolute inspiration for me and responsible for some of the greatest most underrated music out there with DLJ and other bands.
I go back to his live performance of Luau @ Noise Pop in 2016, his happiness there interacting with the crowd is palpable. Seemed like an all-around super genuine dude. Bless your soul and thank you for the inspiration Rick
