Loved this book and the movie ever since I first read and watched them in 2014. I’m 20 now and I still find myself thinking about it (as you can see, I couldn’t pass by this edit that i saw in my recommended page). I always felt alone as a teen, never had any close friends, let alone a significant other. This is why I could relate to Charlie so much and why I loved this story. I still feel alone even though I have friends, but this edit made me remember what I felt while watching the film, it felt like I actually had friends and I definitely wasn’t alone in this. I really hope my life gets a bit less lonely next year. Im starting to ramble, so I’ll go. No one’s gonna read it anyway, so 🤪

Just finished watching this movie and it was so hearttouching. It hit right in the feels. The depth in the character of Charlie mesmerised me, like the way he loved his family, his friends. The sadness when he found himself tied to his past, reminded of it and blaming it was something all too familiar to me because I am the same.
