Yeahhh I was like okay music hip hop taste different with in others ears but I listened it and it was the most amazing world play I've ever heard among the chyper and the words just stabbing you into the heart. Alright it's not that the best beat but it was so much swagness in it. I'm kind of upset
same thought haha when she said she didn't include pt. 1, i blurted out "whyyy?" haha it's a pass for a first diss track, it shows how they improved over the yrs.
I feel like if you are a hip hop fan specifically you'll love cypher 1, like that one gives a good old school hip hop vibe.
@@jinjinjara7609 cypher pt. 1 is too generic, maybe that's why most youtubers who introduce the cyphers to noobs skip on that. Cypher pt. 2 and onwards have more attitude and creativity. To general listeners who are not really into hiphop its a safer bet to introduce them to Bts cyphers with more impact to pique their interest.

Love how the guy on end far right, his smile got bigger and bigger during suga's verse in cypher 2. The "feature" guy in cypher 3 is Supreme Boi. He was originally supposed to be a member of BTS but chose to stay on at BigHit as a producer. He produces a lot of BTS' music.

Supreme Boi is a rapper and producer in big hit who was in a underground hip hop crew with RM before he became the fist member of BTS (RM).
Basically Supreme Boi is a close friend of rapline who was supposed to debut with them but didn't and instead became a producer for the company also all of Rap line produce and compose BTS songs

In case no one mentioned it, Supreme Boi was one of the original members of BTS, when the group was solely a hip hop group; when the company decided to make them a kpop group he decided to stay on as a producer instead.
RM, Suga and JHope, the three of unique combination.
RM= IQ score is 148, considered as a genius and top 0.1% population in the world, an underground rapper before signed with his agency.
Suga= a boy who learnt piano to bcm a song writer/producer.
Jhope= a street dancer and have a group name Neuron, originally he was one of the vocal line in BTS but then the agency changed his position to bcm one of the rapper line.

All of these cyphers are directed to the Undergroud rap scene in Korea. Cypher #2 specifically references a specific korean rapper who disrespected them ("Hawaii" is a song of his)- I feel like its important to give this context.

This video was great haha please bring em back for the mixtapes or at least Daydream/Agust D/Joke so they can see a good representation of each member on their own tracks
Please explain to them that it was a guy named "B-Free" who told them that they can't be hiphop artists and idols at the same time. And also wearing makeup (like how any other celeb do) contradicts with "hiphop" cuz it apparently makes them look like females and some other bullshit i forgot.

Yeah, the cyphers were directed to their various haters, the most infamous being Bfree (whom Suga's line about going back home to Hawaii is about).
And Suga and RM received *a lot* of criticism from the Korean hip hop community for becoming kpop idols. They've mentioned how former friends from that community turned their backs on them amd how many looked down on them.
But the cyphers were also done during the time when BTS, as a kpop group, was struggling to get recognition as well. *A lot* of kpop fans wrote them off as being sure to fail and disband within the year of their debut. And there was a lot of particularly vocal criticism from kpop fans against RM for not fitting the traditional kpop beauty standards.
Plus, BTS came from a small (at the time) company and couldn't always rely on k-media for promotions (the usual way kpop groups were promoted to the mainstream market) because they weren't often invited onto idol programs or their segments might get cut off if they were (to be fair, this was pretty common for kpop groups from small companies).

An interesting fact: The song Cypher 2: Tryptich means: Second Triptych Cipher. Trtptich an art that unites 3 parts that together form another image. The three parts are Suga, RM and J-Hope, and the image that is formed is B-Free since the music is aimed at him. This song was made because B-Free said that BTS rapers don't know how to rap fast, besides that he made fun of BTS 'Hip Hop style, saying "BTS is not a real Hip Hop group", then he said that BTS was the worst kpop group of that generation (that was 5/4 years ago) and even said that BTS wore makeup and made fun of them because of that saying that "makeup is only for girls" (very macho that; -; I use it sometimes and I'm a man; -;) and to make matters worse, he said BTS would never grow up, I doubt he would say that today. And thatâs why Sugaâs part is so fast. There is a part in the song that says "Go back to Hawaii, go home" This means that Suga told B-Free to give up rapping and go home, since B-Free is Hawaiian. The quick part of the suck can be interpreted in another way. B-Free said "Suga doesn't know how to rap quickly" so in the 4:21 minute of the song it would be like "I don't know how to rap quickly, huh? So hold those 14.76 syllables per second". In the same year as the release of Cypher 2, Suga said "B-Free said I don't know how to rap quickly, this applies to the other rappers on Bangtan Boys. He said that because he didn't want to demean himself in that interview. But one thing that he forgot, is that we donât care what he said. But it took a very large proportion, so it took my patience, so I wanted to show him that he was completely wrong. So I did a quick rap so he can bite his own tongue. And now B-Free? Who raps slowly now, huh? " And another thing, the music was made by the 3. Each one did the part to sing, or better, to humiliate B-Free.
