I’d be curious to know if you’ve actually ever played a guitar with hand wound pickups installed. They really are nuanced. CZcams compression really doesn’t do them justice.
Am I the only one looking at her working and thinking that having something spinning very fast only a foot or so away from your body is really dangerous? I used to work in a machine shop and plexiglass has saved my life more than once.
So cool! But I wonder how one can really know for sure if Josefina herself wound pickups on a guitar you buy. Wouldn’t I’d be easy for Fender or a dealer to claim they are handwound by her? How would you really know?
@@Jakeman90210 so you’d have to remove the pickups and look for her signature? And couldn’t they copy her signature? Maybe I’m too cynical......I wonder if it’s really only on high end master built custom shop stuff?
@@benjamingilmore825 beats me man, call fender. I don’t think anyone would fake a pickup that’s only worth a couple hundred bucks to begin with. Not much profit margin

@@benjamingilmore825 You can get hand wound pickups on any custom shop, it's about $100 upcharge.
