- Dancing in the Dark is one of the most famous & enduring American pop songs of all time, and one whose beaten-down yet inspiring lyrics are just as relevant right now as they were on the day Springsteen wrote them. It was released in May 1984 as the lead single from Born in the USA, the mammoth 30x platinum album that turned Springsteen into a global megastar, and it dominated radios around the world that summer & autumn. Dancing in the Dark was actually the final song recorded for Born in the USA, only a couple of months prior to the release date, after Springsteen's producer Jon Landau complained that he didn't hear a hit single on the album. Apparently the Boss took that as a throw-down, and he did a pretty good job of remedying the problem. If you're a US citizen, don't forget to vote on Nov. 3 if you haven't already because this is a big one right here... may the best man win. No commercial use.

I followed you here from a comment as promised. Great rendition. Great job. I watched your other videos. Your playing is on point but the singing isn’t working. It’s just not sadly - you have all the skills playing and singing at the same time, it’s hard. If you can pivot from the head to the chest it’s going to be the whole package. In your lady Gaga video there was seconds of what it could be. Get some coaching in that area then you are going to nail it. Sorry for the critique but thousands of comments telling you that you are the best won’t help you. Playing a good weighted electric piano or real piano is also obviously better than the plinky plastic keyboard timbre. Keep it up :)
