Singapore is Chicken Rice capital. There are so many nice Chicken Rice stalls all over the island and everyone has their favourite!

我曾经有一个韩国的同事超喜欢新加坡鸡饭的。不夸张的说她在新加坡的四年里几乎每天都在吃鸡饭！后来要回国的时候哭着跟我说她会很想念新加坡的鸡饭。
太誇張了吧．．．哈哈哈每天都在吃LOL 但這裡的雞飯是真的不是蓋的～
笑了😂。
分享一下：
新加坡卖的肉鸡，都是饲养30天左右的农场鸡；
所谓的“kampung chicken 甘榜鸡” 也是农场鸡；
可是品种不一样，饲养时间90天左右；
所以滋味自然是不同level，
价钱也比较贵（3倍租金和员工薪水哦）
我知道，因为我是业内人啦～～

记得以往的吃法会把甜酱油和姜蓉先淋在饭上。。然后鸡肉和辣椒一起送入口。谢谢你更新了目前的新地点
The reason for mingkee's Chicken to be so juicy n tender is because they dipped n soaked into ice bucket after cooking n before serving. Indeed 1 of e best in SG.
說起Golden Mile Food Market...最近有去吃全新加坡獨有的辣椒麵…要吃就要快…星期二休,還有這Market在12月~2月大裝修…要吃就乘這幾天了…

There could be Chicken Rice Part II: 1. Sinn Ji Hainanese Chicken Rice (Thomson). 2. Pow Sing (Changi Jewel). 3. Boon Tong Kee (Balestier) 4. Sin Kee (Holland Drive) 5. Wee Nam Kee (Novena)......
Boring la.. Everywhere got chicken rice still chicken rice! chicken rice! and most of them surely above average else already closed down. At the 4th place onwards, most of the comments are quite similar already. Lol
Hoping for something that audience never seen before like fusion food, creative food of similar to that Japanese cai png etc etc. Like last week which was really good. Uncovered those really hidden gems which can help them a lot as we all know rental for a prominent place is very expensive in Singapore. These hidden need marketing help from such a program. Good Job Alison and her team.
我也同意明记的海南鸡真的超好吃，但其实本地不乏超好的鸡皮下有jelly 的海南鸡。印象中
- Loyang point 二楼远远角落里有一摊
- Pasir Ris Central hawker centre 角落也有一摊
- 大巴窑 傅记 Poh Kee Chicken Rice
还有一些不太记得了。
我本身吃鸡饭时会捞进姜沫，辣椒与老抽一起吃，觉得那味道加上鸡油香真是一绝 😋👍

@@alieats 温馨提醒…义顺928叻沙分大小碗两个售价，小碗$2.80, 大碗$3.30, 小碗配料有血蛤，豆埔，豆芽和半粒白煮蛋，大碗的配料则多了仿螃蟹条，如果妳不喜欢螃蟹条，可换成多点血蚶，面条选择则有粗细米粉和黄面，看个人口味而定，还有！这是一间只有咖啡店不到五分之一面积的小吃店，桌椅有限，如果妳要拍摄，建议妳选择9-10点，或者3-4点之间用餐，否则将会造成诸多不便！

哇鸡饭!!! 人人最爱的。。哈哈! 如果能的话我建议你能尝试在勿洛北511小贩中心（文华鸡饭）和唐人街（heng ji 横吉）推荐这个隐蔽的地方。我个人认为鸡饭是很主观的食物。 但我建议您试试这些鸡饭摊。 这么多鸡饭我特别喜欢勿洛北，因为他们的米饭好特别虽然看起来好像米饭可是不油腻，而且能吃出鸡饭的原味，超级香得。。

天天不怎么样。你去试试看后港美丰鸡饭的烧鸡。后港路和实龙岗路交叉口西北角组屋楼下咖啡店里。
威南记总行的烧鸡饭是我吃过最好吃的。出名的海南鸡饭也还有很多间，比如Yet Con Restaurant (群逸),Yeo Keng Nam,Boon Tong Kee etc. 以后拍一集烧鸡饭和油鸡饭吧。
可以考慮一下，但目前雞飯先緩緩🤣
不知道威南记总行在哪里，吃过一家威南记，的确不错。

应该是班兰叶的香味，我家煮鸡饭也是有放班兰叶,班兰叶味道很香尤其是煮甜品绿豆汤,豆爽,清汤之类的甜品少了它就没那么香和好吃了.但是我觉得几乎每间店家卖的鸡饭的饭应该都会用班兰叶耒煮的.

以前讀完書後常去明記吃, 一盤白雞胸去皮配2-3碗飯. 如果能續飯就好 :(

好吃的海南雞飯要去海南三街（佘街），也就是書城對面，萊佛士酒店後面！有些不是專門賣雞飯而是海南菜館子，但還是很好吃！黃色的飯應該是屬於海南島文昌雞飯.

My fave chicken rice is ar Alexandra Village Food Centre. Near the famous king avocado stall. U should go n try leh. The avocado drink is probably best in SG. I usually go there b have chicken rice n avocado haha

You can try put the chicken sauce into your rice. Dip your chicken into both the chilli and then dark sauce and eat together with the rice.

You try the wrong Loy Kee, should have gone to their market stall further down at Whampoa market. The shop one is way lousy compare to the market stall one.

Used to patronise 明记 when I lived around there , now that I’ve moved to the east , Katong S c and 南香 ( Bedok central ) are the one for me whenever the crave kick in .
Actually we have a widespread of savoury food as we’re a multi religion country . The most sought-after food for tourists are usually the BKT , chicken rice and laksa . Hence I personally hope to see some reviews on the other local food aka wanton mee , laksa , rojak , nasi bryani and Hokkien mee . It would be a delight to see how these local food suit the taste bud of a non singaporean .
As usual , the standard of Alison channel have always been top notch .

U can try the chicken rice at golden mile food market they can sell half n half (half roasted half steam ) , one of the best chicken rice I've tasted , but the queue can be quite long during lunch time and dinner time
