Nasi ulam.. 😂
Nasi Lemak
Ikan Bakar
Rendang
Karipap
Kuih Talam
Most type of food in malaysia, especially rice you dont eat individual item individually. You take a bit of everything in every bite. Individually, they taste too strong especially salted fish or egg. It is supposed to make the plain rice taste good.

There are lot Javanese descent in Malaysia especially in the states of Johor, Selangor & Perak...FYI they are Malaysian & considered as "Malay" or bumiputera here in Malaysia...i understand if you got confused, their food similar to Indonesia... way too long to explain because its part of history...for real authentic Malay food usually come from the states of Kelantan & Terengganu 😁
Malaysians have very large multi cultural backgrounds. There are a lot of Malaysians with Javanese and other Indonesian roots.
That Patin Fish, its lil bit expensive and its not exist in any river, its from PAHANG RIVER!!! NOT NEARBY KL.
Good to know 🤠
Thanks for everything. 👍
My pleasure!

الحلقه حلو كتير حلو كتير ⚘️⚘️⚘️
Thank you, you too! 😃
You need to try Itik Salai or Daging Salai Masak Lemak Cili Api next and Laksa Sarawak too. Sarawak is in Borneo, East Malaysia.
Yes, I should try them 😃
@@TravelingSoloLogs yes Solo..I m from Sarawak n you should try Sarawak laksa one of the best among all the laksa in Malaysia. It's the late Anthony Bourdain ' s favourite dish Breakfast of the God's.
Patin is one of cat fish species. Cook with fermented durian called tempoyak. Found in Perak (northern of pen. Malaysia) and Pahang (east coast of pen. Malaysia).
Danau Kota is at east of KL. Can reach there by LRT or bus. There is where the patin's shop situated.
I like 'pais' patin more😊
Thanks for the info 😃
I am hungry after saw you eat rice and patin tempoyak from pahang..that was so good and nice
So good 😊
Kacang pool looks delicious 😋 you really enjoy all the food 😅 have nice weekend 🎉let's explore ahead 🌱
Kacang pool was my favorite! 🤤😁
And of course, Bismillah before eating and alhamdullillah after that. 😊
I love it as always. It's great and interesting as well. Thank you Solo. 👍👍👍😍😍😍
Thank you for your sweet words 😁
A lot of Americans and Europeans who come here and taste our food later on seem to ‘complain’ that our food is so good it kind of ruins just about all other food for them!
You need to buy or bring water to drink bro. Not just for hidration, but also to prevent chocking. Mineral or plain drinking water is better coz in Malaysia, most of the times you would be tempted to touch your food or eat them with your fingers. You can wash your hands before and after eating.
19:29 Tempoyak is the best! I go to Temerloh in Pahang for it. It is patin (catfish) cooked in a durian and chilli soup for maybe over a low flame to get all the wonderful flavours out.
Food looks delish! Hope to visit some day and try all their delicious cuisine!
Definitely come! It's a beautiful country
Nasi ambeng indo dish tak sedàp
Nasi Ambeng are good when you ask extra COCONUT side dishes called serunding kelapa😋😋😋😋
Syukur Alhamdulillah ❤❤❤ Mantap Bosskur ❤❤❤
Satay has got to be one of the most underrated Asian food! Simple but so tasty!
Definitely, especially that peanut sauce. It's so tasty
Nowadays there are more and more "fine dining" Malay restaurants in KL/Selangor areas. "Fine dining" but I can assure you they are not too pricey, but the ambience looks more exclusive than the typical Malay food stalls that can be found abundantly. You should check out Malay restaurants such as Rebung, Bijan, Hidang, Sudu, White & Black Kampong Heritage, Palmierra 28 and Hening
Everything looked sooo delicious and sweet people best combination 😊
Definitely, if you ever ate foul before try it with ground beef it's a good combo if they are both hot 😁
Kacang pool haji is famous in johor
💪
So tasty 😋
that fish use fermented durian paste
The paste is so good, I think it would go nice with chicken as well
those people are very nice, I love it.
They are!
In Malaysia, our cultures are giving food to each other.
Great tasty food, I do love spicy food too.
Yeah, it's always nice to add a spicy kick to the food 😁
Hey Solo what up bro? Can we see you go and do some malaysian chinese street food like at the hawker stand? I noticed you dont really touch on that in your content. So please for all of us Chinese Malaysians. Not sure if you been but are you planning on going to Penang for any food videos? Thanks and keep up the good work. I really enjoy the lay back, cool, calm videos you put out.
I been to Penang, but you're right it would be nice to show Chinese Malaysian food as well but unfortunately some have pork in it so it's a bit harder to show.
Do come to terengganu n try the crispy seafood n nasi dagang too🥰
Sounds great!
kacang pool is indeed inspired by chili con carne.
You should try that Nasi Kerabu bro...i bet it more tasty than that one you had in Kg. Baru!!!
So good! I love it
Good kacang pool ❤
Indonesian food is number one Malaysian food. Somehow in Malaysia we cannot get exactly the same ingredients (certain herbs cannot been grown in Malaysia) to make it. That's why it has to be called Malaysian - Indonesian.
I see, thanks for sharing
You to mix all when you eat the nasi ambeng, need a bigger plate to eat nasi ambeng
Yeah a bigger plate would be better
Nasi Ambeng...,Indonesian dish....tak sodap 🤓
Agreed
Mcm gabungan makanan² biasa pastu bg nama lain.
Hahaha marah konoha nanti.. rendang depa pun tak sodap
Oh so it's Indonesian
It's Javanese legacy. Many Javanese migrated to Selangor and Johor before and after Malaysia was formed. Javanese is a different ethnic from the Malays in Indonesia but in Malaysia, they are considered as Malay.
28:40 Hahaha abang ni kelakar 😂
Haha 😂
When eating fish normally i will eat with my hands to avoid having fish bones in my mouth coz u cn feel d bones b4 putting evrythin' in ur mouth n cn mix all d sambal n all evenly too.😊😊😊anyway for ur info d patin cn b found all around malaysian river but d famous ones comes from pahang.n like d durian also it ranges from d most espensive type patin buah to d cheaper ones.i dono d 1 one u had was which type of patin.d more expensive 1 cud b priced above 100 rm.😊😊😅
Thanks for sharing
